Oh! So it's really true la.

Boy! Am I glad I only do this for fun!

Caption #1

PM: Wah! This beats being in the office. Tomorrow I should try and be a pedestrian in Kuala Lumpur. Maybe, I try and cross a road. Day after, who knows? Maybe I'll take the car out for a spin minus my convoy. So much fun, so little time.

Caption #2
In 4 weeks I'll be out of a job. I'm just getting used to travelling by train.

The newspapers today all carried the story. Badawi following the example set by Ong Ka Ting some time ago by riding the trains that supposedly make up part of our public transport system here in Bolehland...

"Setting aside protocol, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi took rides on the Komuter and LRT rail services from Serdang to the city centre yesterday to get a feel of the transport problems faced by the public. He came away dissatisfied."

"Speaking after disembarking at the Masjid Jamek LRT station, he said he was not satisfied with the rail services and wanted immediate improvements to be made."

'I saw the plight of people using the trains to get to work every morning. They were jostling to get on board every time a train arrived. There appeared to be no system. I'm not happy with this because the people are not getting satisfaction from riding the trains. This we must fix,' he said.

So it takes the Prime Minister to personally get on a train to know that our public transportation system sucks? Where's this guy been living all this time? Ghana issit?

And so the Prime Minister of our country takes time off to go joy-riding on KTM trains and then tell us what we have known for years. This proves 2 things...

1. Our Prime Minister thinks we are liars when we complain about the monstrous chore and inconvenience of using public transport when we are urged to change our lifestyle to combat rising costs.

2. He is so out of touch with reality of life in Bolehland that he actually believed that we HAD a useable and efficient public transport system.

Badawi ended his statements to the press by saying, "There were many more suggestions given by passengers. I will strive for improvements. I will propose changes."

Ho-Hum!!! Haven't we heard that before?

NIAMAH!!!

p/s let's have some fun with the photo. Send in your captions for the above photo. What is Badawi saying/thinking? What are the other people saying/thinking/sweating/cursing? Good captions will be uploaded to the post here. Others can be read in the comments section. Thank you.

Can someone tell the BN government that their so-called Bolehland is not just not confine to Kuala Lumpur!

If the KL public transport is 'not satisfactory' and require 'immedaite improvements'. then may I ask what BN is going to do with the public transport (existence is still debatable) outside the Klang Valley?

I need to drive to work as there is no public transport serving my home to workplace. 15 sen drop of petrol price is not a solution. Please advise how you want me to 'ubah gaya hidup'.

Be practical and do not daydream in Puterjaya.

I suggest BN lawat Singapura (via mara Express to save cost) sambil belajar how they could have world-class integrated public transport system without having to build a national car.

Phark Lah : Hehehehe! Last time i suckered them RM4bil to improve transport system but never did. Now after "trying" out the shiat transportation i can again ask for more money from treasurer (ahem which is mua) to again improve the stinky transportation system.

And the wheels of the train goes kaching kaching kaching!

we are all pharked lah

What’s this crap? 1001 Nights Re-visited?

If this is how a country is to be run with a feudal, puerile style of management, then we are really doomed. He’s only now awakened to the transport problems in KL after living here for the last donkeys years?

The usual BN story after the horse has bolted. Now they’ll come up with a $2 company which will be given the monopoly to formulate a National Integrated Transport Holistic Win-Win Paradigm Shafted Solution. And guess who will get the directly negotiated non-tendered out fat Kontrak?

You can be guaranteed that billions will be spent b4 they close the company which will be taken back by the Govt under a little -known 100% guaranteed buy-back clause protected by ISA/OSA. Sounds like a familiar tale repeated ad nauseum? You get a sense of deja vu. You bet!

Fcuklah!! you tidur again ka?? I have been suffering in the LRT for years. Paying premium fares but getting low quality rides. You say that you use the subsidi to improve the public transport system..mana improvement? Now you join the LRT ride, I am very suspicious. Are you planning to fleece the rakyat again? I bet that......you are going to announce a major project to upgrade the LRT. Why? I know you. I know your lies. I know your annoncement will carry no weight. Because you are incompetent. Because you are a liar who don't even know that you are lying. Sad...isn't it? Oh yes I don't appreciate, even despise you for the 15 sen drop in petrol price. Anwar can drop 70 sen. Go back to sleep.....

Problem is...

He don't know he is ******

The most funny thing is the statement from our Transport Ministry saying that the LRT is beyond their control and push it to the Finance Ministry. What is the role of Transport Ministry if it is not meant to solve ALL TRANSPORT related issue? such a Bull!

What a stupid publicity stunt. You mean to tell us that you don't know the miserable condition of our public transport? Now we should all be real worried. Worried about what else you do not know in this country. If he really wants to do something about it and is sincere, just go take a public transport and find out about it and do it. No need to ask cameraman to take picture and send it to all newspapers. He thinks we citizen stupid, insulting our intelligence. He wants to let us all know that he is doing 'something', not just sleeping.

I would love to see them taking a bus from a roadside bus-stand at Brickfield, Selayang or the Klang bus station. Maybe they should take a bus from Pudu Raya to JB. The next thing PM should try is to hang around Masjid Jamil LRT station alone with his wife late at night.

Is it not so typical of politicians treating us ordinary folks with contempt. Same in my home town, this mca fella come visit to clean/cut grass everytime comes erection. He may be excited with his actions but we think he should have other more important things to do for us lor. Cut grass we just employ gardener ma. No need to pay polician so much to cut grass la.

Same here la, checking out the train service no need to use PM level la, like that over paid already lo, somemore economy is in shit with inflation so high, growth so low. PM also finance minister isnt it? Do something a PM or FM does please. Just ask oyur transport minister to check can oredi. Actually, we ordinary folks all can tell you that it is lousy but maybe you think we are opposition type, just simply criticise.

One nice thing i noticed though, your shirt quite nice man, where you buy ah?

Have a nice day Malaysians, we live with too much crap, crabs i dont mind but craps?

Do you need a PM to find out that our public transport is bad news? What are all the relevent authorities doing ? Eg: Minister of Transport and all its high ranking officers, and the so called Ministers in the PM's dept? My believe is, if one sees 'in between the lines', No one, wants or dares to be the 'bad guy'to take actions and put things right. The norm in the system is: 'you scratch my back and I scatch yours', we are 'in the same boat' and together we 'cari makan'. Therefore when things get real bad it needs the PM himself to point things out inorder to 'kick some arses' and get things done.

LRT is just one of the multi billion ringgit problems left over by Mahathir. Even KLIA, Twin Tower, Proton, Perwaja, Highway, RM, etc.
If really want to inspect all got problem inside.

Mahathir didn't build it for the people. They just wanted to build legacy for themselves and for people to remember them.

The same with Najib's previous education scheme and now National service.
Even our currency, (the changed Malaysia dollar to Ringgit Malaysia) depreciated few times in the past 20-30 years.
