No I didn't do it.......It wasn't me.......They did it without asking me......
Just minutes ago I read on The Malaysian Insider that he said..... "the release of the Seputeh Member of Parliament, Teresa Kok, from detention under the Internal Security Act (ISA) was decided entirely by the police without referring to him
Okay. But then ah...when she was first arrested under the ISA didn't he mention that she was a threat to national security? Ya ya ya, I know she was arrested for her own protection because her life was in danger from something or some people. But he only came out with that excuse after Malaysians went ape-shit at the DAP MP's arrest. So the question I am asking is this....
If she was initially arrested for being a threat to national security wouldn't the Home Minister be at all interested that she had been suddenly released? Apparently not! He said, "......I don't ask questions (to the police) because when it comes to police exercising their power, I let them do their work without any hassle. And if they feel there is no need to make any recommendations (to detain further) and they are satisfied, they will release in accordance with the powers that they have......"
Eh? I thought the Minister of Home Affairs was in charge of internal security. No ah? Funny isn't it?
A Minister of Home Affairs who doesn't ask questions of the police...be afraid people...be very afraid....
But then this fler is really something else when it comes to chewing his own shoe leather la. Like when he responded to the USA saying something about how Malaysia's use of the ISA was an infringement of something or other
.....We have the greatest respect for the US and we've got good bilateral relations, but it doesn't mean that wherever we are going we have to ask them 'can we go?'. If we want to go into a room also we ask them 'would you allow us to go into the room?'."Each country has got its own peculiar position or circumstances and I think we should be happy with what we are doing with our law, in order to protect our citizens......"
