Zamry Kadir: I swear to defend the Monarchy. True one. Trusssssssssssst me.

This morning when I was surfing online news portals I came across this incredible headline in the Malaysian Insider...(WARNING: You could get a coronary from laughing too hard at this. Reader discretion is advised.)

"Before thousands, Zamry vows to defend monarchy"

What? You don't find it funny? Okay, let me explain...

First, Zamry is a politician right? So no point him vowing anything, right? We all know politicians vow at the drop of the proverbial hat. And of course, they don't mean a word they vow.

Second, defend the monarchy? Zamry belongs the group that, not so long ago under a different leader, were almost calling for dissolution of the monarchy. And not in such polite language either. Remember that? Now suddenly vows are made to defend the very institution they had wanted to destroy...in front of thousands some more. Now, if we findd out that those thousands actually believe this shit...then it really is time to emigrate. Singapore might even be an option. Oh sorry...a neighbouring country in the south, I mean.

Finally, to those of you who have suggested that my silence on the blog might mean that I have been 'bought' over. The answer is no. RM5 million, even if they offered, don't buy shit these days anyway.

NIAMAH!!!

Emigrating to a neighbouring country in the south...

Something which I would not do when I was younger but am actually contemplating now. This is a sad indicment of the direction Malaysia is taking.

I weep for Malaysia.

Actually I don't know if the Sultans know that UMNO is the party that is destroying the Monarchy.

Or are they blind or buat tak tahu.

UMNO only uses the Sultans for their advantage. I remember not so long ago UMNO was organising road shows to reduce the influence of the Sultans.

Good to see you back Patrick....after such a long...long...time. Missed your wonderful and insightful comments.
Yes, emigrating is definitely an option when you live in a country that have different sets of laws applying to different social, political and racial divides. My family and I have emigrated to Oz some 30 years ago, and even though we may be seen as immigrants by some, however, we are mighty proud to call a country, which has laws that apply equally and fairly to all citizens alike, our own. Loyalty comes from the heart and when a country treats you fairly and equally irrespective of race and religion, you stay loyal. You cannot expect your citizens to display loyalty to the country, by shouting or flying flags during national days, when you treat them as second-class citizens. Tell that to the BN scumbags! Niahmah Hai!!!

Remember the so-called UMNO Lama & UMNO Baru. They will argue that it is the UMNO Lama who called for the dissolution, nothing to do with UMNO Baru. UMNO Baru always support monarchy for political purpose lar!

How does Kadir propose to 'Defend' the monarchy? Any strategies? Will he use a stick? A keris? His winning 'just-come-and-punch-me' smile?

when the rakyat is not behind BN, these politicians will run and hide behind the Sultans.

Funny how these dummies all say they will defend the monarchy. The won't say they'll defend the Constitution, like the Americans will pledge.

What?? RM5 million don't buy shit, you say?

I disagree. It bought three of 'em in Perak what! Why you say can't buy shit?

"Finally, to those of you who have suggested that my silence on the blog might mean that I have been 'bought' over."

Bloggers are not obliged to write everyday. Besides, what they blog about is their business. If we enjoy reading their opinions, we return. If not, we look elsewhere. So just because a blogger is quiet for a while, idiots assume he/she has been 'bought' over? I shall borrow my socialistic aunt's (may she rest in peace) favourite response to such morons: tiu!

Wonder why all these ex-Malaysians love to troll in Malaysian blogs expounding their love of their new countries? Can't they just leave Malaysia completely since their new countries are allegedly so much better?

Because once you're a Malaysian, you're forever a Malaysian, Rajah!!

Although I do live abroad now and call my new adopted country home, my roots are in Malaysia and so are the rest of my family members. Of course I'd still be interested in the welfare of the country.

Maybe if Sultan has not ruled in his favour he would have said the opposite like the Terengganu UMNO, calling the sultan NATANG. Like your more recent post, politicians do not have short memories, just that they listen to all their stupid advisors around them who tell these politicans that Malaysians have forgotten. Advisors = Kaki bodek.
