Yeah! Sure!

A typical Malaysian family.

It happens all the time. Have you noticed? This great need to be one with the people. Same as you and I. Normal. I am talking about all those VVIP's who would have us believe that they are no different from any Ali, Ah Chong or Samy in Malaysia. It happens all the time. When a Prime Minister resigns or when a new Prime Minister is appointed. And it sure happens when our Agung is installed. Pages in the media will be filled with news of how this person is a People's (insert what whatever VVIP title you like) Whatever. The latest in the series of "Please believe me I am just like you" stories appeared yesterday in The Star

PM's children lead normal life the headline read. This was about the children of our new PM, Najib. I almost choked on my fried meehoon when I read, "Their father may be the Prime Minister of the country but life for Riza Shahriz, Nooriyana Najwa and Norashman Razak is just the same as any other Malaysian." Just the same as any Malaysian eh? Okay. The kids all live and study abroad. In UK and USA. Presumably they have been there since pre-university level. In Malaysia, ORDINARY Malaysians are "persuaded" to study in Malaysia. And most 'ordinary' Malaysians can't afford to send their children abroad anyway. Same ah?

One of the PM's kids also said, "When we return to our lives in London or Washington DC, we still clean our own rooms and take out the garbage". Wow.

I don't know what you think but for me I would like to, for once, hear something honest from the spin-doctors of these politicians. I mean we all know. Being children of a Malaysian Prime Minister has its privileges la. How can don't have? Like is a traffic policeman going to give you a speeding ticket? Is the swanky restaurant not going to seat you just because they are full? Is the Immigration office going to make you queue if he or she recognised you?

So come on la. Don't treat us like idiots can ah? Come right out and say it. Yeah sure I get special treatment because I am the son/daughter/nephew/niece/mother/whatever of the Prime Minister. That's the way it is because we Malaysians are very polite and respect our leaders. But the thing about us is we don't abuse our privileges. We enjoy them and we appreciate them as gifts from the people we serve and we treat them with great respect. Terima Kasih. Enough lor. Stop with this "I am just like you" crap. Can ah?

NIAMAH!!!

How dare they even say they are just like normal Malaysian.

Being in UK and US for so long, I think they can't even speak proper Bahasa Malaysia anymore!

Star, the shining beacon of truth, motherhood and apple pie, trumpeted that Najib fulfilled his pledge to reach out to the people by walking about with his masses of asses in Jalan Petaling one time.

I almost snorted our my Milo-O.

A priest, a rabbi, and a politician were all caught in a
shipwreck. Sharks were soon circling around. The sharks eat the priest. The rabbi starts praying fervently, but to no avail, as the sharks eat him as well. The politician is really getting worried, as a shark is coming for him. But, instead, the shark puts him on its back, carries him to shore, and lets him off. The balding guy asks, “How come you didn’t eat me too?”
And the shark replied, “Professional Courtesy!”

And I have you know that the FIRST Lady isn't actually the first.

BTW, I distinctly remember the headline picture the time Najib first became the DPM. It was a picture where the lovely couple was seated at their home's dining table over lunch.

And spread out before them were enough food to feed my family for a a few days.

Stop with this "I am just like you" crap? Amen, indeed.

It's very obvious that the parents have no confidence in the local education system! Better to have educated overseas, US, UK, Australia but definately not Malaysia, lousy education system-lah.

I wonder how they can afford to keep 3 children oversea with his normal pay. The repoter should ask what cars they drive back home oversea and which high class apartment they live in. Anyway for malaysian to live overseas is not normal. Should try living in the Petaling Street area.

If you are waiting for an honest politician you can grow old fast and die of frustration.

I mean that's like asking Dracula to switch to tea and coffee! Not in the politician's DNA!

Anyway, what's MahaRosemajibMuk's children doing in London and Washington? Our SM's and Uni's rated No.1 in the world by UMNO not good enough for the? Muahaha!

Pat., get them to tell us their marks in school. this may not help, even those americans and british have a price tack!

Steadyboy said...

Yeah right, did anyone check whether the 3 children went back to UK/US via economy or business class tickets? Not that it is any of my business, but frankly I am quite certain that ordinary working class flers won't be forking out some serious money to come back via business class travelling.

Take a look at these flers' uncle, Mr. Kerishamuddin, he send his kids to private school, and I recall once reading that his son (or was it daughter) was the head prefect in some international school. Hey I have no issue with anyone sending his/her kid(s) to some elite private school, but the last time I checked, Mr. Kerishamuddin is the Education Minister (though I really wish he isn't), so I would have thought he had supported the education system by sending his own kids to local schools, no?

Good one. I was crapped out when i read these PR stunts. The behind the scene team is on overdrive to show Najib as good.

I also choked when Mukriz ask people to send kids to national school when his children go to international school or when Hisham's kids seemed more ang moh than a public school product.

they are just like us!! BUT when they are in abroad..ive been studying in UK since pre-U till my Master.. and now im working here in the UK. I lived in Uk for 10 years.. I used to stay with those anak-anak Dato and those cucu2 Sultan.. BUT i am not anak Dato or even VIP punya anak..org biasa only. Those high level people still have to do what we avg peolple do, they have to clean their own room, even throw the garbage, clean their own toilet and they do cooked for me!!! i can say that they prefer to eat our local food, and thats the reason they have to cook their own dishes! they speak MALAY everytime..i am sarawakian, and my Malay is less than my English.. lama2 i speak MALAY with them, i pulak can fluent in MALAY :) some of them, just came to study here just because of "nama" as long as they graduated in the UK.. :) and of course they can afford so they choose better education, and some of them not even smart..biasa je. so they just like us :) they treat me well here.. they are very helpful :)

Jonathan's Parody of BolehLand said...

So you believe that 1Malaysia has standards? Even as former Education Minister he doesn't even trust his own local brand!
And now that Najib is PM, and 1Malaysia is his vision, is it odd that his kids prefer Pizzas, Fish & Chips & Steaks Better Than Nasi Lemak as far as their meals are concerned after their studies!!!

So the message is, he doesnt' t trust 1Malaysia even with his kids education!
For a party that endlessly scold so many BolehLanders so many times for disrespecting the national language, not having faith in the local education system and also frown over the use of English for Maths and Science or even for studying in vernacular schools, or working overseas than in 1Malaysia,these fellos are really a contradictory bunch of hypocrites! read more in www.jonathan66-my.blogspot.com

The reason why Najib's 3 children from first marriage were not in the photo is because Rosmah cannot stand them (or the idea that he has "other" kids) and has a standing instruction that they are NOT to appear together and that Najib is not allowed to spend time with them.

I know this because I am related to the children of the first wife and spend a lot of time with them. First wives' kids must make appointment to meet their father and only if Rosmah approves.

I have also never met a child more spoiled than Rosmah's daughter Najwa. Her daughter Azlene with first (or was it second) husband also married into my family and is the sweetest girl I have know. She also did not attend her daughter's wedding.

Riza (who is NOT Najib's child) is just out for the free ride.

All I can say is, despite having Najib as a father, his kids with his first wife have been raised perfectly. He truly should be proud of Nizar, Nasif and Puteri have turned out. Clearly Tengku Puteri raised them well.

All those who bash them are totally emotionally inclined person..

They are all like us..

I go to school with one of najib son la until he did 'A' level..

Maybe they have special privilege..

Why you bother a lot..even if you are VVIP son, surely you get what they have now..

The Truth is it doesn't stop you to become anything you want in your life..

Some of you even a engineer, surveyor or architect..

Have them ever stop you?

Non, all based on your hardship..

Please be reasonable lah k..

Truly hope First Lady can do something for Malaysia's Mat Rempits especially the ones who mob and rob as reported in The Star. These youths may very well become Malaysia's future leaders. Right now it appears they are in control of the streets.
