When is a bribe just an incentive?

Ah...cam ni...you undi Barisan Nasional...

So when is a bribe a bribe and when is it just an incentive? Okay, ready for Bribery 101 Malaysian style?

It is a bribe when you offer a cop money to tear up your speeding ticket.

It is an incentive when the Deputy Prime Minister makes an offer of "....a new deal to turn Manek Urai into a new development area in Kelantan, provided Barisan Nasional wins (the) by-election."

A legal mind defines it this way...

An incentive is given to encourage better performance of a task at hand, a bribe is given to procure a task.

The Instant Cafe Theatre Company's YB says, "No! I never, never take bribes. I only take GIFTS."......"It's only a bribe when I ask for it. That's why I never ask. I only SUGGEST."

To the DPM,

You build the bridge because you care about the people of Manek Urai, not because you want to win the seat.

Your tactics are severely flawed.

That's not illegal.
UMNO knows it.
That's downright low class politics.

Look at his idiot face. Do you want this moron to be our next PM, my fellow malaysians?

U mean the "incentives" given all these years are bribes...?????

Wah....!!!
That means Mahatir is so "correct" when he says about corruption.

Tsk! Tsk!......

Read in Malaysiakini today that a TV host had been reassigned to desk duty because her talk show guests were asked to rate Najib's first 100 day performance and they gave him a "C" or "D."

Ya .. we all know that Najib received a glowing 65% approval rating recently. Thus, there must not be any mention of a below average rating, just like the ban on a certain Mongolian name.

How come MACC is so silent on this? No action? No talk? No nothing?

To me it's not a bribe. It's a threat.

This is how it is legally done. I hold your balls and twist them like this, uh?

How to tell the difference between a bribe and an incentive?

Simple!

When an UMNO/BN politician opens his mouth, that's how!

Go figure!

When is a bribe just an incentive?

It depends on how the government of the day want it to be defined, on a case-to-case basis of course!!!

Patrick, you have outdone yourself by putting so many puke faces at one time in your blog. One fella has grown so fat that his neck is disappearing. And the botox fella is now trying to change his looks by putting the "silver wings" to make himself look more "distinguished" except the "silver wings" look more like durian thorns with fungus growing on them. And you gave us a double take on that fungal durian some more. The picture on mad man nordin is not a good one. You should put up the one where he is yelling like a mad dog. He will be proud of that one as it suit the image he is trying to cultivate.

just read on MI that the MACC has raided the offices of 2 DAP assemblymen in Sgor. it's amazing how fast the MACC and the police can act when it comes to dealing with people holding opposing views, but close their eyes to blatant acts of corruption by BN reps. they must think the people are fools for not recognising them for what they are ---- mere tools of the BN to make life difficult for those with contrary views.

Patrick, how could you compare us mere mortals giving duit kopi to the cops when stopped for speeding to the government's offer of a deal in Manek Urai? It's clearly incentive la. Eh, I mean commission. Er, or is it investment? Niamah! Now I'm confused.
