I was reading Singapore Straits Times today. An article written by a Singaporean Malay claimed that Singapore's merit system did not marginalise the Malays, contrary to what those UMNO fellows said.

To be honest, I agree that Singapore has a 3rd world democracy.
However, we Malaysians certainly don't have a developed world democracy.
If Third World democracy means I can walk without fear of getting mugged or robbed in broad daylight,and everyone truly deserves an equal opportunity in education,where $ is spent on something more useful than sending someone to flip roti canai in space,where the tax i am paying is gonna be returned to me in form of better public amenities,healthcare,where public transportation won't give me a headache everyday then by ALL means I will take it anyday..
