Only in Malaysia!!!

I am sure that most of you have seen this already. But just in case some of you Niamah!!! visitors missed it I thought I should post it here.

Only in Malaysia will you find a major newspaper printing on its front page a headline story with the Prime Minister warning Indonesian workers not to break Malaysian laws.

"We welcome you but don't flout the law......." - Najib Razak, Prime Minister.

And then on the same page publish a full colour photo of the Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin and other Malaysians happily breaking the law by not wearing helmets while riding motorcycles!!!

"Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin hitching a ride as he tours flood-hit areas..."says the caption.
Helmet ah? No need la.

(the photo did however show a few law-abiding Malaysians in the entourage)

Only in 1Malaysia!

NIAMAH!!!

Patrick,

No, no, no. The DPM and his Mat Rempit macais' did not break any law. Don't you realize that the DPM and his macais are all above the law. The helmet law only applies to Indonesians and us common peasant non UMNO folks.

I think you are not the only one noticing this. I was thinking about the helmet thingy too this morning. Very observant, huh?

Maybe Muhi's head is tougher than a helmet and the rest of the bikers were also blessed by his presence, thus their heads too became tough!

But then, is the DPM exempted by law from putting on a helmet while riding on a motorcycle? Knowingly flouting the law and making it public! Truly NIAMAH!

I don't carry a crash helmet in my car ... I thought it was a private road??? ... It was such a hot afternoon to be wearing a helmet ... don't fuss lah, I was on the motor for just 5 minutes only ...

Why do you bother about such animal species from BN/UMNO animal farm?

Let these animals fall from their motorbike or rammed by Mat Rempits and let them be crushed to death. This cruel and corrupted species needs needs to be wiped out from the face of the death on land, in the air, on the sea the sooner the better.

He also misused Govt aircraft to attend an UMNO meeting in E.M'sia and then dared the Opposition to make a police report! So far, the MACC has done nothing about it.

So, why should people like RPK honour the laws of our country when our DPM does not?

Let's all give him a Big F**king NIAMAH! They are the main reason that created the law-breaking culture here in Bolehland. I can safely say 99% of Malaysians break traffic laws, the balance 1% died because of it!

Can PM instruct DPM to be consistent?
If cannot get SIRIM approved helmets, at least use bicycles lah coz riding basikal tanpa topi keledar does not against traffic law.
Make it clear, ok ?
Else don't blame Mat Rempits if Gerak Khas catch them without helmets.

Is Najib listening to Bush more than Tun M?

I am a Malaysian, bought my family home in a Johore that started having "guarded community" about 5 years ago. Now my IC gets checked by some foreign security guard (guess its Bangladesh) that does not even own or stays there. Isn't that really malu to us Malaysian.

Even police on duty does not like to wear uniform here, so is that breaking the law.

Law....what law??? Boleh-land is lawless, at least not to us law-abiding citizens, paying our taxes timely to feed these morons who think they are above the law.

Anyway, law or no law they are the ones who make the law, even kill you if they need to!

So..........shut up and they ride ride ride!

Anonymous said...

Spot on Patrick. I noticed the non-wearing of helmet too by the DPM when I first saw the pictures in the papers.

Anonymous said...

His kapala big mah, no helmet can fit one, so no need lah, DPM you know!.... 2nd men in Malaysia and future PM. ........law are mean for foriegner onli.

Haha! One Malaysia! One Bird Fucking Brain! Should subject the newspaper editor to public stoning for shaming the rest of us who have bigger brain than him.

Anonymous said...

Mr PM, this is what the so-called One-Malaysia, izzit? Those people near to the dpm also exempted from law izzit? That says it all and confirms what the normal rakyat understands about the principles of bn practice la!

Anonymous said...

Looks like the dpm has outshone the PM. He's not mindful of the law and is definitely not mindful of what others' think about him. Steady, one class higher than anybody.... that also means he's the up and coming pm material la... Watch out, whoever is currently on top of him. wakaka..

Anonymous said...

He is big headed or he thinks with his big head that his head is bigger than everybody else so that no helmet can fit him and therefore no laws can be applied to him.

Congratulations to you for being nominated as best actor (for your starring role in MediaCorp's Red Thread) in the Asia Television Awards.

It goes to show that our talent is better recognized outside our country. I always believe that the abundance of local awards show does not mean the same for the quality.

LGE was right to say that Penang did not have enoug EE engineers to fulfil the foreign investment criteria. Simply because many of our talented people have not ben recognized locally (for the known reason) and have decided to venture outside the Bolehland.

Tahniah once again.

By the way, RED THREAD is shown on Channe 5 4pm Saturday afternoon. Thos in Johor will get to see.

patrickteoh said...

Thank you for your kind words Benang Merah. I didn't know that Red Thread was still being shown on Channel 5. If you live in Johor and certain parts of Malacca and can receive Channel 5 from Singapore try and watch it because I think Red Thread is worth watching la.

Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim, we salute you and, yes, we will remember the bridges, the roads leading to the golf courses, and much, much more. Thank you for Selcat and bringing honesty and accountability - we, who had no voice, are now being heard.

We look forward to more declassification of 'state secrets' so that the truth will be heard - a very rare commodity in BN's Islamic Malaysia.

We all now know the extent of shortchanging of funds by BN to Pakatan Rakyat states and are also aware of the sinister motives for the acquisition of the state's water assets - to build BN's 'war-chest' at our expense.

Hi Patrick
Yes I did notice the headless, I mean sans helmet too but didn't blog on it coz these fellos have no brains that needed protection anyway. Yup they are a law unto themselves. But then they are visiting a flood hit area. The helmet only makes it heavier and drown faster so I guess that's why they didn't wear the helmet. Or is it an UMNO area and there is a different set of law there!

Toyota Motor joined Formula One in 2002. By the time they left in 2009 they had spent RM8.11 Billion. This translates into RM3million a day – everyday for 7 years!

Honda quit F1 in April this year.

BMW withdrew at the end of this year season.

Toyota, Honda and BMW ! What does that say about F1? F1 is simply not sustainable.

And now Mokhzani Mahathir, Chairman of SIC’s announces:

“ Malaysia’s plans to start up and run it’s own Formula One team….If Malaysians need to rally behind an effort to unite our people, let’s use motor sports” and most important of all he reminds us that “Contrary to popular belief, motor sports isn’t just about fun and games but is big business in other parts of the world”.

Company Name: 1Malaysia F1 Team Sdn Bhd

Team Name: Lotus F1

Team
Country: Malaysia

Team Principal: Tony Fernandes

A partnership between the Malaysian Government and a consortium of Malaysian entrepreneurs.

What madness is this? You can put any spin you like into this but this is the bottom line. The Barisan Nasional Government will be using hundreds and hundreds of million, if not billions of our Ringgit to finance an entertainment spectacle that will financially benefit their cronies and big business.

Merdeka Center conducted the poll, commissioned by the Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ), between Sept 16 and Oct 12 this year. Results :

A total of 13 per cent polled felt corruption and abuse of power was the most serious problem that needed addressing, followed by social problems at 12 per cent. Just 10 per cent thought crime and public safety was the country’s most pressing issue.
While 74 per cent were dissatisfied with the government’s handling of graft, a total of 67 per cent were also unhappy with how the administration dealt with social problems.

So next election the hot topics will be "CORRUPTION" & "CRIME" again.

MerdekaPoll said...

Joining Adrian Pang is a star-studded line up that crosses boundaries with Channel 8 stars Celest Chong, Julian Hee, Aileen Tan and Patrick Teoh, teaming up with radio personality Brian Richmond and Junji Delfino from the Malaysian music scene.

A well-paced plot as well as suspenseful cliffhangers as secrets, lies and ulterior motives reveal themselves as the series progresses.
