After the rant I posted yesterday about how TM sucks, I got some action today! Or maybe it is just a coincidence la. Don't think anyone in TM would have time to spend reading blogs much less reacting to them. After all....WAFFOR? Right?
Anyway, the TM 'contractor', a young pleasant fellow, has just left with a promise that my phone line will be in working condition after 1 hour. "Sorry la, boss. Hari ni opis banyak orang cuti ah. Tak cukup orang kerja. Bab tu programming lambat sikit." HUH?
Anyway, I shall let you know if the 1 hour promise is kept even though opis banyak orang cuti.

seems that it's not that contractor's fault.. it' the TM's...
TM outsource their service connection and repairs to contractors.
So how soon your line will be up depends greatly on how hard working or resourceful is that contractor.
I'm sure your reputation lends itself to the 'prompt' service when other lay mortals would still be kept waiting(days and not the mere hour).
I would be much obliged if you could keep us all posted when you finally get on-line. Please do a download test and inform us the numbers.
Most TM users would attest that we only get 10-30%(512k package) of so called "fastest net connection" and whatever marketing tag line as claimed. Don't we all wish we could remit payment based on what is being served up to end user's despite the claim.
Anyways, I hope you and family are cozily settling in well. Regards as always.
just installed a phone line from tm two weeks ago, it took a full 5 days before i can use the phone after installation... 1hr? err.. niamah!!

Anyway Sir, I've always felt that our TM customer service is not up to the par where you would DARE to compare with some other international organization. I wonder when will that happen..
wait la... their 1 hour is 1 day (that is, if your lucky enough.. otherwise, wait 1 week la)
When i upgraded my streamyx, they promised it might only take a day or two (perhaps latest by a week) without any interruption to my connection, but blardy hell... took them 3 days and 2 desperate phone calls (u know how some gals are so good at sounding 'desperate', right?) to TM and 2 cold-turkey nights of not getting Facebook (all my cakes in YoVille were burnt!) that my connection resumed.
Wait la... Tunggu la... nanti la...
it's almost 4pm.
2nd tea-break for them after the initial 3.15 tea break.

Patrick I agree with you. TM not only sucks, it is a pain in the neck as well. They suddenly billed me RM88 instead of RM77 per month for my Streamyx.
TM said I signed a contract with them to pay RM88 after 1 year. Despite asking for proof they failed to do so. But they still insisted that I signed a contract with them.
If this doesn't suck, can you think of something else, Patrick?

Yesterday on RTM1's "DiLuar Lingkaran bersama Syed Munawar" live talk show on broadband matter, TM/Celcom/P1 representatives were in the forum. TM denies they monopolise the broadband business with explanations which I still could not figure out (eg backbone issue and not enough local content compared to Korea etc).
Najib must set KPI for those cronies else next election I shall blow it up !

The overwhelming majority of teachers are of one race, the lack of professionalism in the teaching profession indirectly contributed to poor teaching methods.
The end result of such a change precipitated the exodus of non-Malay students to vernacular schools which provided a more conducive environment for educational advancement.
