The Malaysian Insider today reported that, "A one-ticket system for public transport in the Klang Valley will be introduced by the end of the year to further encourage the people to use public transportation."
Transport Minister Ong Tee Keat said that the “1Ticket, 1Seamless Journey” project would be launched for all the 16 public transport operators.
So sure, come year end we can buy our 1Ticket and use it to travel wherever we're going. IF the bus/train/LRT arrives to pick us up!!!
Will somebody please tell this fucking clown that it isn't buying a 1Ticket that encourages us to use public transport but the existence of an efficient, convenient system!!!
Address the REAL issues, moron!
I don't know about you but I am really getting very tired of this
1Crap, 1Same-fucking-sing-song-tokkok
that our government 'leaders' are spouting.
NIAMAH!!!

Ong Ticket = 1 ticket
One Way Ticket,One Way Ticket To The Moon!!!The Chinese vote him in MCA and the Rakyat vote BN in...Why complain????
It is called the zimbabwesation of bolehland.
Don't you know BN's style of overcoming problems? The Chinese calls this "头痛医头,脚痛医脚" which literally means "cure the head when it aches, cure the feet when they are painful" by prescribing "instant antidotes"! BN can never get to the root of the problem and overcome it!
Just like today, my morning trip, at 0730 hrs from Cheras to Jalan Duta Courts took me nearly one and a half hours! Perhaps, BN is viewing this as a sign of "prosperity" for the nation!
Exactly..spot on Patrick..this dick sucking minister is good for talking..buy a ticket and wait for a bus that never arrive. This son of a bitch should just stay at the MCA hall..and solve the MCA problems.
You guys in Malaysia seems to be big in coming up with catchy slogans eh? Yup, you tell it to them Pat. About time the government do something concrete for the people instead of shouting all these self-praises and slogan chanting ... and all the while lining their pockets with make-work projects!
I am not living in wilayah Persekutuan.
The sickening thing is that the government only focus on KL transportation issue, and ignore the transportation needs of other towns and cities.
About time to introduce road pricing in KL, this will solve the problem as all will then take public transport and reduce the congestion.
This Ong Tah Kut is trying to convince the and divert the public attention against The PKFZ scandal.
May be it the way the soon going bankcrupt 1 Malaysia fucking leaders idea to "korek: the rakyat money in advance just like the parking ticket. Buy first than use.But beware the expiry date is not in years but days.
The ticket price is same wheather you travel near or far with maximum charge just like the parking ticket , even you park just for 5 minutes pay maximum 60 sents.
Fucking 1 malaysia with dick head learders.
I have reliable information that the recent visit to INDIA by Najib and delegates (UMNO/BN) is mainly to recruit IT professionals and hackers from India for a 3 year contract. It's estimated that more than 200 will be recruited at MYR300 million per annum.
Their only task is to jeopardize, intercept and disrupt blog sites and bloggers who are not government-friendly. Since they have a strong stranglehold on mass media whereas Internet and local blog media are out of government control, UMNO/BN out of desperation are going all out to weaken local anti-government blogs and bloggers by having these IT pros and hackers to infect viruses and trojans into individual IP addresses through TMnet and Celcom Internet service providers. Najib, Hishamuddin and Rais Yatim, along with a few UMNO/BN cabinet ministers had a closed door meeting with Telekom and Celcom top guns to discuss these matters before Najib left for India.
This is planned to affect login passwords, local publication access, slow down systems, and even to the extent of destroying data in hard disks if anyone accesses any anti-government blog sites and to prevent these from posting anti-government news.
This will not affect proUMNO blog sites due to the fact that the interception is based on IP and POP proxy addresses of individual sites and individual access. So, if you access pro-government blog websites, you won't be affected. Out of desperation, UMNO/ BN will ensure that Malaysians won't be able to access news from any anti-government blog portals and these websites won't be able to publish the truth of their corrupt activities and strategies to topple the PR government in the Internet local access.
LimKokWing university seems like an agent for 1Malaysia?
The key will be whether a monopoly contract has been given for this new system through open tender or by non-tendered "direct negitiation" means to a crony individual or company.
When Touch N Go monopoly was given to Renong/UEM Group, we had to fork out about $200 for the device. At that time S'pore was already exploring drive through no-stop ERP gantry operated systems with 4 international companies which has now become a reality there.
Till today, you can't buy a discounted return ticket for LRT, weekly, monthly or season or annual pass. But the real problem is lack of connectivity between LRT stations and bus and taxi services.
I don't have great hopes that this 'cart before the horse' approach will solve people-mover problems in the long term. But that's par for the course for MCA/UMNO/BN - form over substance to try and milk the Rakyat!
dpp
We are all of 1 race, the Human race
we should give 'Ong Ticket' a 'ONE-WAY-TICKET' to retirement come GE13 !!
Goh Wei Liang
nothing will ever change, esp our public transportation.... this whole 1watever campaign is real pain in my arse!!!
Well, don't get too agitated mr patrick. Give face la. I think i enjoy u being sarcastic but not too direct, man!
the problem with our LRT system is the lack of integration, we have too many system. 5 if I am not mistaken, Star, Putra, KLIA Express, KTM, Monorail.
When we need a monopoly for efficiency, we don't have it for some unknown reasons, such as a unify train system for the entire klang valley for seamless transition without buying a ticket, checking out and checking in again.
When we don't need a monopoly in a particular industry such as water and energy, BN will somehow justify the need for a monopoly.
Klang valley is in a mess, it is beyond repair. The LRT system is in a mess, big mess. How to integrate?
Besides all that has been said already, Malaysia is not just Klang Valley alone! What about in other towns and urban areas? Is he just minister of transport for Klang Valley only?!
Stances, empty stance here to show he's not quite in a slumber.
~wits0~
Goh Wei Liang,
I prefer throwing him a one wat ticket to JAIL, not in Malaysia never mind, let an international court humban this piece of shit into some fucked up island prison
You sound a tad annoyed, my dear. Watch your gasket.
:)
I've never bought the 1- craps. It's only for one group. That's all. Period.
1 this, 1 that ... 1 mother fucker brain and all the gomen people got only 1 FUCKING SAME "1"! ... so tired!!!
Yes. It is a BIG piece of bull dropping. 1Ticket?? What is this 1Ticket. A chance for somebody to sell more machines to the bus companies and LRT.
Could be just a souvenir ticket for an almost non-existent public transport system. You won't get to use it because the buses almost never show up.
I feel for people like 'sakit hati'. I'm so tired of being screwed by the government in everything that I do. I can't drive, work, eat, buy underwear without being screwed for it. I'm screwed for existing. And it's not even a natural calamity. If you think about it, there is actually a lot more sanity in being wiped out by a typhoon.
How about 1Wife,1Husband,1Car,then we will solve all family problem and traffic congestion and so everybody forced to use public transport.Regarding Anonymous @9.23pm,is it true and can it be done? If it is,then sounds very scary! If I happen to visit that website(happen to be anti-govt),then my computer will kena virus and kaput! This way is not fair. The govt cannot do this!
Just look at our light rail system - they are heavily disjoint with each other - from one service to switch to another (e.g. ktm commuter to monorail) is either non-existent or you've gotta walk a long journey.
One Patan, One smartag cost RM200, One touch n go card cost RM20. One more good way for cronies to make money. One wonder when they are going to joint the LRT station hanging in brickfields to KL Central. One good way for blood pressure to go up.
1Patan

That will amount to RM125,000 (1,700,571 INR) per IT professionals and hackers per month!! Wah! Must be Mr. Ji's idea to make millionaires of Indian IT experts!
You got that spot on Pat!
Those idiots never listen!
OTK's 1Ticket is to rival is to rival his predessesor's black box on bas expres.
Another waste of time & money.
During BN's rule in Selangor, things were a lot more relaxed. Evidences that surfaced during the Selcat hearing illustrated the point. But when Pakatan Rakyat calls the shots, things are run differently. In its quest to go to Putrajaya after the next general election, the morality standard is set at a much higher mark. Too bad. Khir Toyo is caught with his pants down.
The issue is how did he afford the house? If Khir Toyo was CEO of Disneyland, we would not care. But he was the Selangor menteri besar.
As for the land and the bungalow, is it worth only RM3.8 million? Land at that area is close to RM100 psf (per square feet), even at a discount. Let's say it is RM70 psf. The land alone would come to RM3.5 million. How can MACC miss the point?
pat, start a new party, topple the bn, PRM is nice ,Parti Republik Malaysia! U'll get members in a jiffy!Tak percaya? Do n see!
gibuk
Be nice Pat...
Dat feller must show he's doin his job mah....
Must come out with some sort of his "own" ideas mah.........
Its not that he doesn't know that the overall entire transport system sucks.......
He knows. Just that they CAN only think of an idea on top of a problem.
Aiyahhh..... The problem is he should ask the public how "well" is our transport system as he don't use it.......
Silly me...! Millions of rakyat will bombard him for nothing. Better to just "say something" smart & give himself 1 year to happen....
Btw..., why need 1 year to implement when it can be done in a couple of months???
Its not like building a house what.......!!!
Yes, where is the integration of transport systems?
If I were to take a train from Batu Gajah to visit my friend in Sentul, I would be reminded of our convenient old railway station being moved to a grand new station 'in the middle of nowhere'. Then coming out of KL Sentral, to take the one to Sentul Timur, I need to take Putra line to Masjid Jamek 'interchange'. This one is a joke because one has to come out of the station and cross the road to take it.
Similarly, if I were to take the monorail from KL Sentral, I have to come out of the station, walk a fair distance under the open sky and cross the busy road in Brickfields.
If we dare to think of building an expensive crooked bridge as well as a bridge to Sumatra, why can't we solve these two 'butts of joke'? It will not go away over time but remain to inconvenience the public.
The ministers only appear in such places for the cameras. How can they empathize with the public?
1MoreId10t ... KL traffic sucks! public transport lagi sucks!
1Malaysia...now, 1thicket!!!
Coming from a pig ar#e thinking Transport Minister, it is simply I fucking Big Joke!
Malaysia, mana ada system..."if you have the money, I got the time......"
Crap..... this is Choi Fu ta phei........( Remove pants just to fart)
True True true so veryyyy true! They think they can be another singapore la! Sorry bruder..no chance! If you have crap service, you will always have crap service! Aiyaa...another project to waste money lar...somehow they have the satisfaction in wasting the tax payers monies! Niamaaaaaahhhhh!!!!
Hi Patrick,
Again you are hitting the nail right on the head,. Why is that they just don't see things in the right perspective???.. They just got to improve the facilitites i.e. better condition and greater frequency > less jam!.. Not another 1-syndrome thingy, otherwise you end up with 1-Tan (die again) and 1-Sek (cari makan) issues. I don't live in Klang Valley and I am thankful I don't face the madness jam everyday!!.. - SirAlf
At present it is already difficult to access Malaysianinsider.com from a certain Internet service provider. When I went to cybercafe using a different Internet sevice provider, no problem acccessing at all.
I wonder if I'm being blocked.
These MCA idiots should have protested the dismantling of the chinese companies like Foh Hup,Toong Fong,Len Seng, Selangor Omnibus.
What happened after the Master Mind dead in a helicopter crash ?
The constitution did not state the transportation system must be owned by one race. After could not managed transfer to the Government.
The only solution is to privatise to those who are capable and can manage . The RapidKL will go down rapidly unless the Government has a lot tax payers money to subsidise. Look at JAL , the Japanese government cannot tahan subsidising .PRIVATISE look at the airport bus LCCT to Sentral -boleh tahan and profitable because it is privately run. OTK please talk to your boss ,need not have to smile.
Treating the Root Cause is what needs to be done now, right now.
This 1Ticket or 1Malaysia thingy is getting damn annoying. All I can say its 1StupidIdea.
During Liong Siks tenure as Transport Minister, various Grandiose plans were announced, BUT ALAS the implementation never became reality. Subsequently, during Chan Kong Choys time, several big ideas were floated and anounced to resolve the KL inner city transportation impasse, BUT AGAIN, it fell to the bins. We had the Company operating the LRT and Park May, Intrakota etc going into financial demise etc. Please get the logistics and the system and the oiling and supervision in place before announcing any more CATCHY SHIOK SENDIRI SLOGANS or Plans etc
C'mon, please give the guy a break la.
he has just taken over the Ministry of Transport from imbeciles lk Samy, Ling and somebody-else's-son la....
At least, in comparison with most of the BN he is actually doing 'something' and is brave enough to stand up for some issues.
And, he is better than that shameless & noisy Chua Soi Lek who should just resign gracefully instead of being a half dead chicken kicking the rice cooker (cantonese:死鸡chang饭盖)
please la, uncle... YOU ARE A DISGRACE to the community & no fit to be a leader.... RESIGN and disappear into obsolence to regain the last bit of respect from the community la... Look at the Japanese ministers! They resign over the slightest mistake & leave office with some dignity left for themselves!
also, please remember that OTK does not hv the 'whole say' in the 'whole thing', he has to see his boss' face too leh - u know.. the guy with balding head + rosy lips and a "5-foot-less 1/2 inch" (in chinese = 五尺欠寸半 ) wife :P
Regards,
Meow Kitty
Horses for courses. Right medicine for the right ailment. The Minister seems to be barking up the wrong tree. I would buy 15 tickets for a round trip if the bloody public transport system is efficient.
1 peanut brain Minister
JLWH
Brother Patrick,
I'm surprised that you don't know that "it's like that ONE"?
Are you going to introduce 1NIAMAH?
From: 1TNS (TiuNiaSing)
Soi Lek rules. He's our champion.
1 Kind one huh. Like that 1 la. It is and has always been 1 Way, my way or the highway.
Haiyah, relak la, we are in 1 Big mess already.
You hit the nail right on the head, Pat.
They focus on the non-essential while letting the real problems fester and rot away.... Where are all the buses? All stuck in the traffic jam!
How about a "1 TOIDI (spelt backwards)" Award for OTK? Any nominations?
One nincompoo-arm and one moron-no, that's arm-no.
I m so soli to see this fucking clown has made so many people angry. I thought when I left m'sia there would b people to take my place, but apparently many uder clever people left too. He is the lisult of blain drain - vely hard to fix ah !
Right, never get to the root cause and beating round the bush. Jz like Tan Cheng Liang urging DAP rep to resign over boat tragedy. The school team has been praticising at the same site for more than 3 years! and Ms Tan what hv u done for the school teams for the past 3 years?? Well, Ms Tan, take care of the penang ferry, tragedy may recur .... When things happened, your resignation is not going to help at all!
Patrick, you missed this.
i want to read your take on this.
“If it’s true that Umno has a hand in this, why would I push for these crimes to be punished? When even the son of a policeman was arrested?” he asked.
read more here
No need to talk about 1Ticket or even connectivity with different transport modes.
For KL LRT commuters, ever wonder why the LRT does not go to Bandar MidValley? That's a gold mine of ridership .... but you can only look at it from 400 metres away.
hey pat, been a long while... it's good to knwo you're still going on strong...!
BN has created 1BigMess of our transportation system all these while with ad-hoc policies and disintegrate all transport network with bas pajak system, inefficient KTM and the National automobile Policy that made us buy Proton and jammed the traffic all over Malaysia.
Go to Signapore and to learn how they created an efficient transportation network that is integrated, efficient and smooth.
Try their MRT. Adopt the road pricing system. See their clean taxis....
Let us all demand ONE-RINGGIT salary to all the Federal Ministers starting with the PM.
It is almost 10 months since Najib became Prime Minister, and apart from his dazzling “1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now” slogan and concept, Malaysians have not felt and could not perceive that there is any meaningful change in their daily lives.
The 261-page environmentally unfriendly “1Malaysia Government Transformation Programme” would make an impressive thesis on nation-building and government transformation but the national challenge today is not who can produce the best-sounding thesis but have the political will to implement meaningful changes in all aspects of national life.
In fact, there could not be a worse time for the launching of the 1Malaysia Government Transformation Programme when for the past month, the Malaysian image of a united, harmonious and progressive nation had suffered prolonged battering in the international media because of the failure of find a quick solution to the “Allah” controversy.
OTK should spend his effort on exposing the wrong-doing of PKFZ.
What is there to worry?
No need to recycle the tune of 'One Way Ticket' of Boney M.
Let the KL flers spend their time on traffic jam to reflect on the political direction of this country.
The wild boar head were in rice sacks... very suspicious. If non-muslims put the heads, why would they put it in a rice sack? Wouldn't they leave it in the open for maximum effect? So, the culprits may be people who didn't want to touch the heads in the first place.
Police and Home Ministry officials have confiscated Zunar’s new book, ‘1Funny Malaysia’ from bookshops in Penang and Malacca.
Thirteen copies of the popular political cartoonist’s book were confiscated this evening from the Popular Book Store in Air Keroh, Malacca. A further 27 copies of ‘Where is Justice?’, edited by Nathaniel Tan, were carted away as well.
Birds of a feather flock together !
I am sure we can't wait for the next GE to handover the job to someone who talk less and do more but of course a brainy one and with a heart to really SERVE the rakyat !
This fella was the one who shouted so loud that if he was voted out in the MCA meeting, he will abide by the decision and at last, what did he do ?
Do we still believe him ?
A man of no integrity and want to be a whistle blower ?
At least I doubt ???
One Sek Sai Kai !
Why can't all these fucking shitheads politicians in the government just stop talking and do first....see the results and then announce to the public!!! Before do, start talking as though to score some cheap publicity. Go to hell laaaaaaaaaaa.
cool down uncle patrick :)
LRT service has now improved. before d introduction of 6 sets of new trains last mth, public needs to wait as long as 15mins for d next train. now its not that pack oredi. its a good improvement on that.
lets see how d bus system works. give em some time. cheers!
happy long weekend :)
Aya Pat! I already fedup listening to this guy la. Talk-talk alot one. Just full of hot air.
You expect too much from this guy la. Look at his face damn blur, blur le.
Thanks, Patrick, for putting up that unique picture of OTK. That's OTK's trade-mark "smile" or facial expression. I have in my personal collection of many such pictures with that kind of 1Crap-Standard smile.
I am prepared to sell my car if the bloody transport systems in the Klang Valley can be as efficient and convenient as Singapore's. Not need fancy gimmicks or slogans. Period.
Perhaps, Patrick, you should get someone from MCA to go and open OTK's mouth and tell him not to smile like that. It's bad fungsui for him and for Bolehland's transportation systems. When he stop making that kind of facial expression, maybe MCA and and the transportation systems in the Klang Valley will be better. I guess so.
It is very unfair for you to blame OTK for the tranort woes in Klang Valley.
Before he was even a minister, the problem was already there. I don't think he could undo anything or make any changes.
The transportation licences were awarded to umno's cronies who started the pajak system. The unintegrated rail system is a shame compared to Singapore's MRT.
I would rather OTK put his effort to dig out the truth behind the PKFZ system.
Just ask him where is the LRT stop at KL Central? Niamah KK! you still need to cross the road, carpark now under construction, cross another road with mess of busses, including Airasia bus, yet still you need to take a lift or climb the escalator to reach Central! What kind of planning is this? Spend so much money and you build the LRT station 500m away from central station. What so difficult just to extend a little bit more? No bloody brain and can talk about ticket samore!
If you miss Kui Jen (host of Malaysian Idol), he is now hosting a sports program for mediacorp singapore.
Another Malaysian talent lost to Singapore.
Seems like every talent is following Patrick's footstep.
this Ong thing keat fella is trying to sell the raayat 1 ticket to hell. he and his BN cronies are selling 1Malaysia to One Ownself.
Go fuck themselves... can even get the KLIA teksi system in order..
Aiyah Patrick,
If you can't beat these 1fuckers, you join them lah. Just change the name of your restaurant to 1Damansara Village lor. Better still if it's 1Damansara 1Village. Then all these 1fuckers will patronise your 1Damansara 1Village 1restaurant to discuss their 1Contracts, 1Mistress, etc. etc.
1Cheers!!!!
Yes, this is what MOST of Malaysian leaders are like.
Also the never ending reverting back and forth between two ways of doing things, like the teaching of maths and sci. in English and Bahasa...
And pointing to the wrong things for change, such as requiring students to have shaved heads in Chinese Schools to achieve academically.
As far as I'm concern....it's all 1Crap-Good-For-Nothing-All-Talk epidemic currently adopt by those BeeEan fellars.......
1 this 1 that..I'm sick of it. It's like eating too much durian. Ah ha! I know the solution. I'll give them 1 massive kick in the arse come GE13!
Wong Chun Wai`s paper is promoting 1Chenogsam now:
1Malaysia ‘cheongsam’ a CNY hit
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/1/30/nation/5561414&sec=nation
All these crap amounts to 1 NONSENSE!
BN launched all kinds of 1-@#$% programs to justify the high cost paid to APCO the PR consultant.
Malanciau la
wong chun toi got la
one sek malaysia
Suddenly all bn flers became Transformers.
Maybe Pakatan can choose to be Avatars.
After so many years, Najib is coming to Batu Caves, thinking that the only way to curry favour with the Tamils is by attending this occasion. But when the Federal Reserve Unit shot tear gas canisters into the temple compounds on Nov 25, 2007 was the day Barisan Nasional trashed themselves.
If Umno was the one that had put up the stage, would the men in blue be so brave to demolish it? This incident and many other events organised by the opposition is a clear demonstration that the men in blue are nothing but Umno stooges.
Najib is afraid that the crowd will be bigger on the Pakatan Rakyat side than on his side. So he uses the typical Umno way - by force (in this case, the police force). He doesn't want to see Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim handing out RM1 million to Tamil schools and Hindu temples while he can only hand out empty slogans.
All Indians who support Pakatan should boycott Batu Caves this Thaipusam and find alternative temples to worship at. Let it be a BN temple. Be patient. After general election number 13, it will be a place for all, God willing.
The Batu Caves Temple committees had snubbed the Selangor MB in trying to accommodate Najib and his merry man. It was reported that the MB had to address the crowd under a flyover whereas Najib was given the grandstand where he spoke at length about 1-Malaysia and Islam and the need to focus on Malaysia.
Clearly the crowd at Batu Caves is not impressed on what has happened. Samy was booed. It was reported that the ” defacto PM and her husband” received a lukewarm response. The people in Batu Caves was shown the ugly side of 1-Malaysia where people wishes was not respected.

BN had instituted policies that stifles initiative, creativity, hard work, drive and productivity which benefited only the few BN cronies at the expense of entire country. For instance, a 30% quota of publicly listed shares were reserved for Malays but only a few benefited as many ordinary Malays never received shares from the Federal government.
Die faster ler, MCA, and there may be a future yet - for others. TUNIASING!
Suddenly all quiet on mca front.
Same with PKFZ fiasco with no big fish arrest.
A deal has been done behind the scene. Everyone got what they wanted.
This is politics.
how about we 1 them blardy busses or trains to turn up on time??
He should use public transport for 3 months. Then come back and attempt speak to the general public with a straight (gleeful?) face about the good of this idea.
1990s Malaysia Boleh!
2000s iTALK,i-CITY,i-Nasi Lemak
2010s 1Malaysia, 1Ticket, 1-Lah
2020s Z-Malaysia, Z-NPE, Zimbabwee
Couldn't agree more with you.
I waited for RapidKL (from Bukit Bintang to KLCC)for a god damn 1 hour and decided to walk anyway. Jesus! What's wrong with all these transport people???
Hello Pat,
Forget about comparing the LRT system to the ones in Singapore.
The size of the area covered is different. Selangor is much bigger than Singapore.
Singapore's train system comes every minute in the morning on the North South. The moment I step onto the train platform, within one minute it arrived.
You don't even have time to light your cigarette and take the first puff, of course you can't smoke.
I reach my office in about 45 minutes every day. Estimate 20km distance.
Forget about catching up using the LRT. Its just too expensive. The government should pour more resources into buses.
Minibuses and Regular Buses like the one in HK are very efficient. Give out bus licenses to all and sundry. Let the market figure out where is the demand.
Of course, I expect this advise to fall on deaf ears.
