Fantastic Facts and Fancies
1. Who is this TUHAN referred to in our national anthem NegaraKu? Many "learned" Malaysians, including Mahathir Mohd., insist that Tuhan refers to the Christian God. So how now? The poor Muslim students at school assemblies all over the country will be so confused and traumatised.
2. The use of "Allah" IS allowed. The use of "Allah" is NOT allowed. I am wondering here, just WHO is doing all the "allowing" for using the name of God.
3. The Attorney-General says that in the case of the missing jet engines the most important thing now is to recover the engines. Eh? I thought that might be the 2nd most important thing. Didn't I read somewhere that these engines are old and out of date and that the jet fighters we have that use them are mostly already decommissioned anyway. So why are we so eager to spend more money(millions I am sure) to recover a pile of junk?
Isn't the most important thing to a) bring the thieves to justice and b) investigate the then air-force big shots, the then minister of defence etc under whose watch the "theft" occurred?
No ah? This is Malaysia issit? Oh sorry ah!
Oh oh oh...just saw this in The Star after I posted the rant....
Courts are not the avenue - "Allah" controversy cannot be resolved through the law, says Dr. M
So typical of how the old man does things and used to do things isn't it? Courts? Laws? WAFFOR? This man is good la.
Oh oh oh.........this is funny. In a tragic kind of way.
In the whole state of Terengganu there is no usable operating theatre!!! And we are spending time, effort and money arguing about God's name and trying to recover old jet engines. I think we should definitely spend some of our tax-payers money on sharpening the executioner's axe and waxing the head-chopping block.
