Sunday Funny

Yes! I am right behind you...boss. Heh heh heh...

A word of caution. The following is dangerously funny. It may cause you to choke or throw up your Sunday morning breakfast or brunch due to uncontrollable, hysterical laughter. Proceed with caution....

"We cannot let unbridled freedom of religion cause discord and animosity in a multi-religious society" - Muhyiddin Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister, Malaysia.

Well......... you don't say, Mr. Deputy Prime Minister. Really ah?

NIAMAH!!!

Wow, such profound and deep meaning philosophical remark from our no less "education but unsure about intelligent" minister. His remark has made me come to a realization! Actually it's not a realization but more of a question. The question is "When we look at the picture of the Education minister smiling at us, is he really smiling at us OR in actually is he jeering by mooning us with his ass err..face?"

Hamba.

The more I dwell into current Malaysian politics (I'm not in Malaysia), the more I find the big-shot politicians clueless, dim-witted and arrogant! One can't script a real-life comedy better than this! What does that tell you about a nation with such so called leaders? Indeed, time for a change!!

Un-flippin-believable! Only in Malaysia. Definite proof of the Peter Principal; people rise to their greatest level of incompetence.

Patrick, if you look at the picture carefully, it gives the impression that the DPM is telling the PM " Sorry Brother, that's your problem"

What???

Does that mean freedom of religion will be controlled?? I thought it is already controlled! 'cause in Malaysia, Malay = Muslim. Period. Where is the freedom, Mr DPM??

Even though pariah Mahathir is no longer the P.M. of Malaysia but the people still has to put up with many of his atrocities in the tenure of his 22 years rule.
The current church bombing shamble is one of them, he was the one forbidding the use of Allah in 1986 when he was the P.M.. That is why he does want the issue cannot be solved by court, or better still he does not believe the court cannot solve the shamble. He must the one behind the bombing of the churches, what does he think now that a mosque is vandalised ?
His calculation that the non Malays will take the church bombing lying down backfired on him. He overlooked the fact that the non Malays too have two hands and too can give what the Muslims give. Especially when they took as much as they can and I am of the option this is just the beginning. I think enough is enough, bomb throwing days are over !

"I would like to clarify that only one church was burnt and only its administrative portion was set ablaze," Najib told the Saudi newspaper.
"The others were minor incidents, which do not really constitute burning at all.

"And in some cases, various objects were reportedly thrown into the compounds of some churches."

Do you need to know why Malaysia is where we are today compared to Singapore? Just read the above. It is coming from our top man, our leader.

Najib is concerned because not only were foreign direct investment flows slowing, but key businessmen were also moving out of the economy.

Only months before the meeting, Asia’s richest businessman and Malaysia’s top corporate figure Robert Kuok sold off his long-established interests in the sugar importing and refining business. Save for his Shangri-La hotels nationwide, Kuok has little visible business interests left in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, casino operator Genting, engineering and property group YTL, and the telecommunications and multimedia holdings controlled by tycoon Ananda Krishnan have been restructuring their respective corporations in recent months.

They want to channel financial resources generated locally to finance overseas expansion plans.

I so envy Malaysia - a country without any major challenges and problems which is why the PM and the entire government has so much time on their hands to strategise on one word. Long may this hoolabub continue as it is such invaluable fodder for comedy. Such wasted talent!

gotta be careful of this fella coz i think in the not-too-far-away-future, after the current PM step down, whether willingly or unwillingly, he is the NEXT IN LINE. with his hard-core ultra Malay ideology, it is not hard to imagine the future of non-Malay in this land.

APCO Worldwide, the company hired by the prime minister to redeem his flagging image, has allegedly offered similar services to dictators and corrupt leaders around the globe, according to the Times of India.

The most influential media in India reported recently that apart from Najib, the Washington-based PR company had also serviced former Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha and Kazakhstan’s life-long president Nursultan Abishuly Nazarbayev.

APCO’s clients also included millionaire Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who was once the youth leader for the Russian Communist Party with links to the mafia.

The Malays will say we are Malaysians so we apply Malaysian standards. But why Malaysian standards? Does Malaysia have a monopoly on heaven? Is there a verse in the Quran that even mentions Malaysia by name? I have read the Quran from cover to cover so many times but I can’t find Malaysia mentioned anywhere. Okay, you may argue that reading the Quran alone is not enough. We also need to read the Hadith. Okay, then show me one Hadith, just one, that mentions Malaysia.

What if I were to argue that Prophet Muhammad was an Arab and the Quran is in Arabic so I would trust the Arabs more than the Malays, Afghans or Turks? I did not say I agree with this argument, I am just saying what if I were to argue that? And what if I argue: therefore I insist I follow the Arab ‘tradition’, which means the Wahhabi version of Islam?
