Hasbie Satar, political secretary to Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, has resigned effective last night, after being caught with RM2 million in cash in Penang last Thursday.

RM2 million cash for what purpose?
Pay PKR MPS to lompat?

Najib, what say you?

The rakyat know all the Umno's grand scheme to destabilise the Pakatan Rakyat governments of Penang and Selangor where they can play up the racial and religious sentiments of the Malays in these states.

There is nothing they can do in Kedah and Kelantan because using racial and religious sentiments in these states will not work. So they are targeting Penang and Selangor. For Umno, Penang is the easier target since the state is now run by Chinese non-Muslims, conveniently forgetting, of course, that Gerakan was no less Chinese and no less non-Muslim.

The difference is that while Gerakan then was Umno's doormat and just as corrupt, the Lim Guan Eng/DAP-led government is as clean as a whistle. Umno needs to corrupt and corrupt absolutely under any circumstances.

MACC shows its garang in the tiger year to nab an UMNO fellow.

If the political secretary is caught with RM 2 Million of cash, just imagine how much would it be if the Minister had been caught. It is nonsense for the minister not knowing what his political secretary was doing. It is ashamed only the political secretary get caught. It should be the Minister as well. In 1990s he was the one betting against GBP/EUR under the command of TDM. Wake up Malaysian!

Conversational topics and talking points for chinese New Year:

• the two missing jet engines disappearing all the way to Uruguay;

• a multi-billion ringgit submarine that cannot dive;

• Raja Petra Kamaruddin’s son’s trial and tribulations in Sungei Buloh prison;

• BN political secreatary caught by MACC with RM 2 million cash in Penang.

• the RM12.5 billion Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal still awaiting the prosecution of “big fishes”;

• who killed DAP political aide Teoh Beng Hock who went willingly to Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters on July 15, 2009 and came out as a corpse the next day;

• when MACC will break its apron-strings to its political masters making it the catspaw of Umno/BN political agenda to declare war on Pakatan Rakyat instead of declaring war on corruption;

• Malaysia’s unchecked plunge down the slope of decreasing international competitiveness accompanied by avoidance of FDI and flight of domestic capital;

• approaching anniversary of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s 1Malaysia slogan and concept dogged by the worst politicking of race and religion in recent years, spearheaded by none other than the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Umno media Utusan Malaysia;

• the difficult birth of Najib’s Malaysia.2 new economic model with the continuing and even worsening crisis of brain drain, demonstrating that Najib’s administration lacks the political will for the government transformation to win the international competition for talents needed to successful free Malaysia from the middle-income trap and catapult to a high-income country.

Let the whole world realize that the UMNO’s 1Malaysia is purely a political gimmick to whitewash the eyes of Malaysians and other countries of all UMNO’s past and current racist and instigations of racial and religious tensions. Right minded Malaysians and foreign leaders are not easily duped by the lies and denial of UMNO leaders. Let right minded Malaysians unite and vote for the demise of UMNO for the sake of the future of our country and next generations!

Let’s just hope that the year of the golden tiger will see some real positive changes to our beloved country.

Najib’s plan, based on seemingly tackling corruption and improving economics while pandering the ultra of his party, on the surface seem logical to Badawi’s own failure to paint a glorious brush of liberty and then failing to deliver none.

But its not turning out well. He has made marginal improvement economics and corruption measures has been unconvincing in the face of big scandals. Despite pandering to the ultras, they are still threatening to split off and buidling opposition to him.

In other words, Najib which made a career of avoiding disaster and squeezing through opportunities, find that every turn he takes he faces headwinds.

Despite the strings of hot topics this CNY, the truth is Najib is not really much worst than when he started. If he does not change anything substantially which is his entire career, will he be in trouble? There is no obvious reason to believe that.

In other words, PR still need another trigger, for things to go very wrong for UMNO/BN if its to win Putrajaya. The likes of Perkasa won’t do it, at least I don’t think they are foolish enough.

There still need another major trigger for PR to take Putrajaya. Anwar jailing OR release is not going to do it. The ultras have to do the dumb thing again, get caught with their pants down..

Hi Patrick,
That's a big claim: "Feast on our very own 100% Organic Chicken or Cho Kai."

The international understanding of an organic chicken is pretty much well-established for over 20 years and they include:
1. MUST be free-range
2. NO antibiotics (if no antibiotics what do you use if the chickens are sick?)
3. NO fishmeal and animal by-products
4. Grains must be organic and non-GMO.
5. NO hormones, etc.

Hope your farmer can stand up to the above claims for you to make such an endorsement. Latest I checked with Jabatan Haiwan there's only one farm that's almost there in terms of being "organic". The rest...well, I wouldn't pay a sen more than the normal choi yin kai or malai kai.

Happy New Year.

patrickteoh said...

Hahaha...thanks for the comment CS. Well the chicken we sell comes from our own farm. The chickens are raised free-range for 60 days and only caged for about 30 days. They are not given any antibiotics or hormones. If they get sick they are culled. They are vegetables, oats, corn and whatever else chickens eat when they go round pecking on the ground.

I don't know if it measures up to the international definition of organic chicken but it sure tastes much better than any choi yeen kai or ma lai kai I've ever tasted.

Anyway, why are we talking about it? Come and eat la and then make up your mind lor. Cheers.

How can Najib’s 1Malaysia slogn and concept to create a united Malaysian nation where every Malaysian perceives himself or herself as Malaysian first and by race, religion or region second have any credibility when Umno has been unleashing a vicious campaign to play the race and religion card aimed at falsely painting the Pakatan Rakyat Penang state government and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan as anti-Malay and anti-Islam?

How can the Gerakan President and the KPI Minister, Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon be a credible Minister in charge of Najib’s 1Malaysia Government Transformation Programme (GTP) when he dare not speak out against the vicious Umno campaign through Utusan and other Umno-controlled media baselessly attacking Penang Chief Minister as anti-Malay and anti-Islam?

There appears a tussle for power at the highest level in Umno. Is the deputy prime minister looking to overthrow his boss?

Muhyiddin is eyeing the No 1 post sooner than expected.

Well, if the man above you has so much scandals attached to him that they make him an ineffective leader locally and internationally, then it's hard to believe that the power-crazy Umno ultras are going to obedient boy scouts. Just look at what happened to former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

And if Mahathir is behind the scene, directing as he gets every opportunity, then you can be assured that the old man's ultimate goal (apart from permanently burying Anwar Ibrahim politically) is to ensure his son's political future. That is the only way Mahathir can be 100 percent assured that no one will dig up his shenanigans as PM.

Najib is weak - that I do not have any doubt. The man's got too much dirt to walk out in public without someone pointing to the many holes in his robes. I believe many Umno power-crazy leaders are like the proverbial crocodile just watching and waiting for its victim.

This seems to be a repeat of the 1987 Mahathir-Razaleigh tussle. When elephants fight, the ants (the masses) are collateral damage. My suggestion - since Najib is already Machiavellian as seen in the way he deals with Anwar, he might just as well go all the way and 'retire' Muhyiddin and his extremists within Umno with the ISA.

Anwar Ibrahim's accuser Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan will not likely be celebrating the latest Facebook fanpage set up in his name that registers the extent of support - or otherwise - he enjoys.

A new - though anonymous - Facebook account entitled 'I Hate Saiful Bukhari' posted on Feb 5, 2010, has currently more than 24,400 'fans'.

I have given up hope in making my home any better than before. umno simply gave us our citizenship just to comply to the kemerdekaan requirement and to get rid of the mat salleh 53 years ago.

After which umno systematicaly institutionalized the bumi-less oppression. Our forfathers came to this country for a reason , some say we came as indian beggars and chinese whores but I believe we came for a very valid and true reason.

The time has presented to us bumi-less to move again to a better future, why waste time in cleaning up a run down house when you can financially buy a newer better bigger house? What about those who cannot get out, can't buy a newer bigger house you asked? I say too bad, the world is'nt fair to begin with. Selfish you say? Arent we all? I am no thief but neither am I that noble.

Vote umno/bn out then get out of this country however you can.

Najib should stop playing politics on festive occasions. Festivals are happy occasion to unite our diverse communities to celebrate the unity among races. It is very disheartening that the PM should indulge in politics and, thereby, destroying the spirit of unity.

Celebrations should be carried out by our politicians sincerely, not for the sake of "showing" how appreciative they are of other cultures. This trend was noticed even in the Thaipusam celebration. A big cut-out of Najib - a safety hazard and something we usually only see in Tamil movies - was set up to welcome Najib.

The case of Malay papers propagating race hate articles has largely escape the Chinese and Indian voters as they seldom read such papers. Can some Chinese papers and Tamil papers translate them & publish them so we can all see what they have been writing

Penang need no gerakan said...

The majority of Penang residents I met would like bn to stop bashing Lim Guan Eng.

LGE has done much more in his short time so far than Koh (that KPI guy) during his tenure that made penang lost its shine.

Even Lim Kheng Yaik has said that Gerakan will never get back Penang.
Sp please respect the view of Kheng Yaik.

beng tee said...

I agree with Penang need no gerakan.

Gerakan has got no purpose. Wanting to be multi-racial party but always scared of umno. Just look at the mojoless Koh Tsu Koon ans you will know why umno want chinese leader to be like that. umno is now grooming another Koh Tsu Koon in MCA's Leow, whose mojo has been sucked empty with the Toyota Alphard incident for him to follow just anything umno want.
