Boo hoo hoo

The crying DPM. So touching.

Niamah!!!

Transcript:

Hi this is Patrick Teoh. Did you see the photo of Muhyiddin Yassin crying today? I saw one in The Star this morning. Very emotional shot. In full living color. Our Deputy Prime Minister who is reputed to be a grump who never smiles, with a hanky to his nose and eyes tearing. Quite drama one la. Of course whether the tears were of the reptilian variety or otherwise was not clearly stated la. Muhyiddin cried after handing out a check to former Johor state assemblyman Muntaha Kailan who is a stroke victim and a long-time friend of his.

According to the story in The Star a group of former elected representatives who are chronically ill received financial aid from the current batch of wakil rakyat who teed off in an effort to ease their burden.

Over 100 politicians, led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, spent their Sunday morning taking part in the Tan Sri Muhyiddin Charity Golf (TSMCG)-Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club tournament at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

Personally, I find it in rather bad taste to have all those chaps who are all either dying, chronically ill or paralysed sit there while the YB’s and VIP’s go strolling on the golf course enjoying themselves in ways the other group obviously can’t. And then having to suffer the indignity of being hand-outs at the end of it. I would have thought that if the government really cared about these people something more long-term would have been set in place to take care of needful ex-civil servants who deserve help. Don’t you? But of course that would not look as good in the newspapers la.

And another thing ah. Why do our leaders so love to cry in public? Make us look like a nation of pansies la. Remember the old general who cried when some people accused him of screwing up the Commonwealth Games? Cried on national TV and all was forgiven. Then the most famous cryer, Mahathir cried like a baby during an Umno general assembly. And we know how much was forgiven after that don’t we? And now our Deputy Prime Minister weeps like a baby. Wonder what he’s after?

Niamah!!!

Apco is teaching them to cry like a baby to gain sympathy votes from the makciks which bn is desperately trying to get for the next election.

As for our dpm, please scrap the 10-yr-old Education Ministry circular restricting the formation of non-Muslim religious societies in schools as it is against 1Malaysia and the New Economic Model objective to educate a critical and creative generation of Malaysians

I say that we Malaysian should all cry because Malaysia is heading towards the dogs. Maybe we can organise a peaceful crying demo for the love of our country. Let us see if we can achieve some postive changes for Malaysia if we can get thousands of citizen crying simultaneously together in one place.

Remember this MB of Perak Tajol Rosli..? He was crying when BN lost the state to PR in last election. I think if we want to rate their crying grades...No.1 goes to him. Mahathir's No. 2.
You know this Tajol Rosli not only crying but he locked himself up in his room for hours ( or days..I don remember..).Like a standard 2school boy who wanted to skip school after being scold by his father..
But this Tajol Rosli...He's a great leader man....NIAMAH...

It is indeed shocking to see that every process, every purchase and every item ever handled by the Defence Ministry is tainted with personal interest and corruption to the highest order. That leakages is a big tunnel that the BN government is not interested in closing, but on the contrary is asking the already poor rakyat to foot the bill while withdrawing the meagre subsidies enjoyed by them.

If this happened in another country, the head of departments and ministry would already have resigned and locked up in jail. In China, they would be shot for corruption.

The stock indices show that after twenty years, Hong Kong index increased 8 times, Singapore 2 times, S Korea up by 80%. As for the KLCI, it hardly increased at all. It has remained almost static since 1990.

This is a sad reflection of the utter lack of confidence in the KL market, meaning that local investors have no confidence in the economy.

There is a complete loss of investor confidence by both foreign and local investors.

CAUSES this is a grave situation and the Prime Minister should review his political and economic policies of the country, in the eyes of the world, Malaysia has fallen our of the ranks of the Asian tigers, and even below Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The Prime Minister must change to a LIBERAL, FREE ECONOMY with no more rent seeking, no more closed tenders, and definitely no more NEP. If he cannot change, then it is a matter of time when malaysia will join the ranks of banana republics like Zimbabwee.

The European Union sent a delegation to Malaysia and they commented that there were restrictions on free trade and were not happy about the New Economic Policy restriction of 30% bumiputra equity. America too have reservations about procurement which favoured bumiputras with the 30% bumiputra equity, as a result of which, America would not sign a free trade agreement with Malaysia.

Patrick,

Why don't you have a "So You Think You Can Cry" competition for Malaysian politicians and let us vote for our favorites............

I would certainly vote for Mahathir "crying" at the UMNO convention ages ago. That Mahathir "cry" is a gem and priceless since it started his whole UMNO gang "crying" as well. Worth at least an Oscar award by a big margin. This Moohideousdin cry may probably earn him an Emmy nomination since he was pictured crying alone.

Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) government had presented a deficit budget of RM39,998,870 for 2008. It had also presented deficit budgets for many years prior to 2008.

When Pakatan Rakyat (PR) took over the administration of the Perak Government, it collected an additional revenue of RM103 million without increasing any form of tax or charges on the people. Therefore, there was a surplus amount of about RM63 million for the year 2008.

Pakatan Rakyat when presenting the 2009 budget at the end of 2008, has no knowledge yet that it will be collecting an additional sum of RM103 million for 2008. So, PR being prudent, presented a budget with a reduced deficit of RM25 million.

In view of the increased in revenue in 2008, PR believes that had it been given the opportunity to continue to administer Perak it would also have been a surplus for the year 2009.

Unfortunately, we see BN undemocratically grabbed power in Perak on 6/2/2009. Perak under BN continued to be a year in deficit for 2009.

BN had again presented a deficit budget for 2010 with a deficit of RM23,890,000. As expected with its corrupt and non transparent administration, BN Perak State administration chalked up additional expenditure. It has now asked the State Assembly sitting on 3-8-2010 to approve another RM80 million for its administration.

In the circumstances, BN Perak State Government is expected to register RM103,890,000 in deficit for 2010 which is the highest in the history of Perak.

BN Perak Government is paying and giving benefits to Dato' Chan Ko Youn, Dato' Veerasingham, Dato' Hamdi Bin Abu Bakar for holding posts without a job. Why does the government need to pay Dato' Chan Ko Youn and Dato' Veerasingham as state advisors with Exco pay and benefits? Is Dato' Seri Zambry Bin Abdul Kadir the BN Menteri Besar admitting that he is not competent to government the State or is he just trying to benefit BN candidates who have lost in elections? These are public funds and not his personal money.

BN Perak State Government has announced giving RM50,000 to each MCA division. We believe secretly it is also doing so for UMNO divisions.

Zambry has spent huge amount of State money to put up thousands of posters to promote himself.

Perak BN government also wasted State fund to promote itself by advertising in the media and sending 'Teachers' Day' cards to every teacher.

The public demands that BN stop wasting public funds. Public funds are meant for the public and not to promote BN or Zambry.

PR once again calls for open tender of government projects which will save Perak State Government money and also open tender of awarding timber concessions which has proven to bring in huge increase of revenue to the State Government.

I call on the Dato' Seri Zambry to itemize what the proposed to use the additional RM80 Million for. The people has the right to know the details to avoid it going to dubious projects.

He is crying because Najib just assign him the dirty job of charging Ling, la....while he goes on leave..

Anonymous said...

DPM said Tun Ling's case shows impartial judiciary.

He ain't that smart a chap, is he? How can the judiciary proven to be impartial when the trial hasn't started yet? Duh... By the way DPM, why was OC Phang handcuffed but not Ling Liong Sik?

He does not know what he is talking about. One charge does not constitute the judiciary; it only needs a selective prosecution and persecution-minded AG (attorney-general) and DPPs (deputy public prosecutors).

The real multiracial Malaysia was destroyed by a constitutionally-defined Malay, who was PM for 22 years. It was during his time that everything had to be racialised; civil service, education, economic and investment activities, the infamous 30 percent quota system which the king of 'katak' Ibrahim Ali now wants revised to 67 percent.

Tunku Abdul Rahman's prophecy that Dr Mahathir Mohamad would destroy this nation is proving to be true. Look at the mess and rot underneath the facade: massive corruption, racial and religious polarisation, partial and politicised government organs and institutions, a laughing-stock judiciary, declining economy due to massive lack of confidence by foreigners and locals, etc.

Street demonstrations in KL city centre and the burning of flags in front of foreign embassies by militants are allowed by the police. The holding of peaceful vigils and lighting of candles are prohibited.

It is evident the police are protecting the interests of the ruling clique who are abusing the ISA to persecute and jail opponents of the regime and to repress the civil rights and liberties of the people. The BN-Umno regime has turned against the rakyat using the police, who are working hand-in-glove with their political masters, to oppress the citizenry.

The ruling clique and their cronies have not only stolen and robbed the country behind our backs, they have also robbed our people of their freedom and fundamental rights. They are using 'rule by law' to cover up their tracks and are desperately clinging on to their power, abetted by the 'hoods' in blue.

This BN-Umno regime - far from transforming our nation into 1Malaysia - is fast turning Malaysia into a fascist state.

The Selangor Government has allocated RM15mil to counter the perceived mainstream media’s biased news coverage against the state.

Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the money, which is about 1% of the RM1.5bil Budget 2011, would be used to put forward “correct information” to the people of Selangor.

“Its just RM15mil. If we consider the 5.2 million population of Selangor, it works out to RM3 per person or 15 sen per day.

“Our aim is to provide Selangor people with the right information that will enable them to make intelligent decisions,” he said after opening the 2011 state budget dialogue.

Khalid also revealed that the state had plans to run a radio station known as Radio Selangor, so that it could further reach out to the people.

“Radio Selangor is something we are going to explore. We have TV Selangor but it is Internet TV and it receives one million hits per session,” he said.

Selangor will use the RM15mil to operate the state’s media, which includes TV Selangor, Selangor Kini portal and Selangor Kini tabloid. ...-

PS: AYOYO... DONT USE OUR MONEY FOR YOUR POLITICS NEEDS LA BODOHHH.

It was certainly ironical when the Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin agreed with former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir that Malaysians have yet to understand the 1Malaysia concept and argued that the public needed more time to fully understand 1Malaysia. It couldn't have been more apt when the Deputy Prime Minister admitted that "certain groups are "purposely sabotaging the 1Malaysia concept".

There is probably at present, no bigger saboteur of the 1Malaysia concept than Tan Sri Muhyiddin himself for he had sought to expound a completely different interpretation of 1Malaysia compared to the official definition provided by the Government in the official documents.

While the Government Transformation Programme approved by the Cabinet and published in December last year defined the goal of 1Malaysia as "a nation where, it is hoped, every Malaysian perceives himself or herself as Malaysian first, and by race, religion, geographical region or socio-economic background second". It was a definition which was clear and concise.

However, despite the above, the Deputy Prime Minister had chosen to reject the goal of 1Malaysia, by by insisting that he is "Malay first" and subsequently ridiculing the concept of "Malaysian first" by saying "How can I say I'm Malaysian first and Malay second? All the Malays will shun me... and it's not proper."
