It's a new year! Happy? Well it certainly was a rousing welcome for 2011 all over Malaysia. With fireworks, street parties, music and revelry.

And Malaysians awoke today to an announcement from the Prime Minister that the "power to build the nation is with the people".

Very true of course. But I could not help feeling that whatever Umno/BN is paying their public relations company is well worth the money. In one swell swoop the prime minister has taken over the stand long-associated with the Opposition! People power now belongs to the BN. So what is the PR going to do? But on the other hand what the prime minister said could also be taken to strengthen what the PR has been saying since even before the 2008 tsunami. That the people must wake up and exercise their right to have good government. That they must register to vote if they haven't done so. So the prime minister is echoing what the PR has said all this time. Yes, I know. for 2011 I am going to be an optimist. Hahahahaha......

In today's Star there is also a funny. The MCA boss Chua Soi Lek said that "the people's support is crucial in the success of the Government Transformation Plan (GTP) and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). True also.  That message can also mean that the Malaysian people should just shut up and follow orders. "Don't worry. You just do what we tell you. We take care of everything for you. Semua selesai!"  Yay!!!

Sorry. Just a small new year's day joke la.

Niamah!!!

I like your decoding power....Pat.
Imagine...New Year message by PM...must talk politics.
He is really obsessed so much guilty conscience...and hiding his defeated signs....non stop talking politics.
A good PM..should say....."aiyah.. lets forget politics for one day. Enjoy your self and please don't drink and drink. Bless you all Malaysians. Thank you..goodnight."
But he is trained by the Jews too.
So Jews tell him to look serious....Atlantuya ghost resting on his head...no become gila..it is a miracle!!!

Utusan should first ask the government to ban local Malay movies and female singers because many are dressed to show their curvaceous bodies. Personally, though, I am against such move because I enjoy the sight of these beautiful creatures although I feel that quite a number of them should do something to reduce their weight.

Pat,

Happy New Year 2011!

Just to share this with you...

(Photos & Videos) 2011 New Year celebration in Sydney Australia - http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/7764500-photos-videos-2011-new-year-celebration-in-sydney-australia

“…Two hours later, Australia’s Sydney celebrated the new year with an ‘estimated 1.5 million people gathered to watch the 12-minute $5 million fireworks display over the city’s iconic Harbour Bridge.’

Sydney promised a party better than any since the 2000 Olympics and judging by crowd reaction, it delivered.

Cheers, beers, floods, fires and extreme temperatures were some of the feelings Australian might tell you as they welcomes the New Year.

An estimated 1 billion audience were estimated to watch the fireworks on TV and the New South Wales Government has estimated the event will inject $156 million into the economy.” Unquote.

Definitely “Value for Money” investment. A fine and positive effort by the Australian Premier & her Government for the Australian nation & citizens...Just Amazing!

Cheers.

Utusan is an extremely dangerous newspaper and should be closed down by any right-thinking and sane government long ago. The newspaper not only is capable of telling and spreading lies and falsehoods, but it is also creating and reinforcing racial disharmony and hatred.

Umno, which owns Utusan, should realise that the newspaper is playing the fanatics role for Umno, and to Umno's detriment.

Who are these delinquent Muslims in Utusan who think that they can play God by telling non-Muslims what to wear, eat, drink or behave? Don't their infantile minds know that this country is multiracial, multireligious and multicultural with 40 percent non-Muslims?

All right-thinking and sane Malaysians (be it Malays, Chinese, Indians, Ibans, Kadazans, etc) should boycott Utusan. For the good of the country, businessmen and companies should do the same by not placing advertisements in this despicable newspaper.

Is this what is called 1Malaysia? How bizarre and contradictory!

Recently several bloggers alleged that a current minister raped his Indonesian maid while serving in the Abdullah administration in 2007. Apparently, then prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi covered up the crime and the minister continued his life unmolested.

Heck, he was not dropped from the Cabinet or cold-storaged. The maid who was allegedly raped, however, was sent home and her claims only came up in a report by Migrant Care, Indonesia’s migrant workers group.

Is there any truth to these allegations? Who knows? There has been absolutely nothing in either comment or denial from the minister (who has been identified by some bloggers).

2011 challenge of Malaysians - to unite and demand that they enjoy equal opportunity to earn a good living and provide a secure, happy life for each individual and the family

Being a propaganda tool, Utusan is being used, abused and manipulated to fulfil the agendas and self-serving interests of those who control it.

The question to ask is : WHO are the hands ( read : the evil manipulators ) and brains ( read : the monster brain ) behind Utusan?

Apart from the editors, action should also be taken against those unseen hands.

Malaysians abhor and reject such evil doers and propagators of racial and religious disharmony.

Down with the toilet paper. Just do not read them if they do not reform and do what they are supposed to do : honestly and professionally inform and educate the reading public.

Let's look beyond such petty mongers of lies and unproductive nuisance.

Happy New Year 2011!
My wish is that PR will win in GE13 and rule the country and those dick-heads disappear from Malaysian political scene!

For our New Year Resolution, make sure each of us get at least one person to vote for PR — the more the merrier. And if every one of us can convince just one family member, neighbour, friend, office colleague — and again the
more the merrier too, to do the same then half the battle is won.

With this simple effort we shall have A BETTER Malaysia for ALL Malaysians.

The recent price hike on petrol, gas, sugar, pork meet, milk powder, drinks and shortage of cooking oil supply in many rural areas had made the “Zero inflation campaign” a pie in the sky and a laughing material by the public in the coffee shop.

While the BN government is indulging themselves in the carefully crafted but expensive Economic Transformation programme(ETP), It is important to note that before the public enjoys the fruit of the high income dreams, now they have been inflicted by another round of inflation jeorpadizing the quality of the public life.

more news:

Recently the UMNO MP for Titiwangsa Johari Bin Abdul Ghani made it clear that he did not need the Chinese and Indians to win the Titiwangsa seat. Making a mathematical calculation, all he needs is the 32,000 Malay voters and that is all. He made it very clear that the Chinese and Indians are a minority and they are nothing but Customers/Consumers. So he has made it clear that he does not need their vote.

Watch for yourself here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lz0pZAKzH0

Johari Bin Abdul Ghani is the Managing Director of CI Holdings Bhd, the owners of Pemanis Sdn. Bhd. He came on the Board of this company on the 29th of November 2002.

Well since we are are nothing but mere Customers?Consumers and since he does not need the Chinese and the Indians for votes, I suppose he also does not need our patronage of Pemanis Sdn Bhd products.

COFFEE: BOSS

ENERGY: STING

ASIAN DRINKS: CHILL

JUICE: TROPICANA TWISTER, TROPICANA 100% , TROPICANA JUICE PLUS

When we won the Asian Football Federation Suzuki Cup, our PM declared 31st December a public holiday, claiming to support the 1Malaysia concept of “People First, Performance Now”. Hurrah, hurrah.
But when our PM attended a Christmas celebration at the Catholic Church Archbishop residence, the PMO directive ordered the church officials to remove crucifixes and prohibit them from singing hymns and praying, saying it’s to protect the prime minister’s Islamic credentials.

Here we are shouting 1Malaysia this and 1Malaysia that, but know not how to respect the tradition, culture and beliefs of another religion? What message are we sending out to the public and the world at large? That we are still immature even after 53 years of independence?
