Malaysia under Mahathir became extremely corrupt and the top people stole hundreds of billion ringgit of the people's money and the important state institutions were destroyed. The people remain poor and get low quality service from the degraded institutions.
Singapore, unlike Malaysia became squeaky clean, embraced meritocracy and treated all its citizens fairly and equally. The people get first class service from its excellent institutions manned by the best people and their per capita income is five times that of the Malaysians.
Penang is a portrait of progress when both Penangites regains their trust in their state government and the government has faith in the wisdom of the people!!!

I'm confused over some concepts, particulary the 1Malaysia one, it is about the toll rebate on highways:
"It is also part of a strategy to stagger traffic on the highways during the holidays which is line with the 1Malaysia concept."
Now toll rebate is 1Malaysia? or using the electric card system to pay toll? I'm totally confused.

what ever 'tanah' you might want to call..many years ago i have seen across from a secluded down town area in subang , whereby young adults on their bikes were gather and paid for carrying our JALUR CERMILANG on their back of their motorbike to ride it around the town for some Rm50.00. !
how pathetic can this bangsa be??.. not to mentioned our 1st formula race in sepang where primary school kids where 'coach' to answered who their favorite formula one racer were ..etc.. and were selectively put on the 'air 'by TV2 .!!!!!!!!!

Recently the Head of UMNO Bahagian Titiwangsa, Johari Bin Abdul Ghani made it clear that he does not need the Chinese and Indians to win the Titiwangsa seat. He did a mathematical calculation that all they need are the 32,000 Malay voters and that is all. He made it very clear that the Chinese and Indians are a minority and they are nothing.... but "Customers". They are not important.
