What the ****!

Minta maaf ya. But you all must really stop eating altogether la. Ok? Anyway, it's bad for you and you will save money if you don't eat.

There has been a lot of speculation about the prices of RON95 petrol and diesel going up because the government intends to cut subsidies for fuel. I am not pissed off about all the proposed cuts of subsidies. What I am pissed off about is that we NEVER ever see the money that we are supposed to be saving from all these cuts!!! We're always told by the PM, DPM and other assorted BN YB's that the money saved from cutting subsidies will be used for all sorts of projects that will benefit the Rakyat in the long run. But do we see these? Maybe my eyesight not so good la. You leh? Got see ah? If got please share with us okay? So we don't have to enter the weekend so TOO LAN leh?  Thank you hor.

NIAMAH!!!

p/s And like DAP's Tony Pua said the "overwhelming bulk of fuel-related subsidies (are) given to companies with lucrative concessions earning billions of Ringgit in profits annually". So explain that first before asking the Rakyat to 'change their lifestyle and tighten their belts" Muhyiddin Yassin!!! AGAIN!!!
Niamah!!!

Patrick,

You need to get your eyes checked. Of course there have been plenty of benefits for the rakyat from the subsidies cut. For example, the VIPs now have more police escorts on the road to forewarn the rakyat to get out of the way. This benefit the rakyat to avoid getting their Protons kicked in by the police escorts thus saving the rakyat money and time in repairing their dented car doors. Another fine example is handing out of RM50 to RM500 angpows to rural voters to vote for BN candidates. This is certainly a windfall to the poor villagers and wonderfully benefits the rakyat, no? See there are plenty of benefits from the subsidies cut. You just need to be more observant that's all.

Patrick,

On a separate subject, I think the DPM is crying because his mentor the ex-PM TDM is not feeling too well lately. He's obviously sadden by the thought that the ex-PM's health may deteriorate and the country may lose an important voice for the ketuanan.

The money is suppose to lessen rakyat burden but is eaten by this selfish politician. With the money, people no need to pay more tax, good transport system or free education for all. See who is stupid now.

Are you saying the Europeans in U.S.A. and the Brits are the natives as the sons of the soil ? Stupid pig, you have to be, when the whole world knows they are not, just like you.

For your information the Orang Asli and the Head Hunters are the real sons of the soil. They were here since time began, your ancestors came here to take refuge as pirates from Indonesia. Got it ?
You ignorant bastard and son of the pig and that is what you really are. Just remember the country is in deficit. Just in case you bastard don't comprehend what deficit is. the nation has run of money and has to borrow to survive.
Just like a person who runs out money has to go and borrow from the bank to pay for its survival.
To build the second Penang bridge Malaysia has to borrow even from China and just recently the corrupted Umno morons members lined up waving the Chinese flags like school children to welcome the Chinese premier. What a scandal, the Ketuanan Melayu has to do that.
Very soon the Ketuanan Melayu will even lick the ass of the Chinese after they have gone to the loo just to borrow more.
Besides the Chinese don't need to turn to corruption for their survival unlike Umno. We use our brains and hands to grow rich and above all the Chinese are not products of incest
relationships who can only turn to corruption. And also turn to a corrupted half breed to be the P.M..and that of your leader when you are unable to find one of your kind to be one.

Soon very soon, Malaysia will go bankrupt and worse of all with no more Chinese to pay their income taxes to keep you and all the corrupted civil servants going.
Finally you are also calling yourself as pendatang and rightly too ! We are proud to call ourselves pendatang and no qualms to be one,
You forgot to add that you are all descendants of pirates from Indonesia and stop calling yourself the natives of Malaysia, the Orang Asli don't even want to be known as Malays just remember that, you bloody children of pirates !
Just let us call a spade a spade and nothing else.

The reduction in subsidies would be used to build patrol boats!! Early this year, the Govt awarded contracts worth Rm6bil to build only 6 patrol boats!! Which means that each patrol boat costs Rm1b or approximately USD 300m each. We are talking about patrol boats, not frigates, battleships or even aircraft carrier for that matter.

Try googling the cost of patrol boats, the cost varies from as low as USD20m to USD180m. In other words, Malaysian made patrol boats are world's most expensive!!

This where your savings in petrol subsidies go to!!

Utusan Malaysia has lost all moral ground to advise anyone since it had blatantly lied in claiming that the Christians were planning to make Christianity the official religion of the federation in order to create racial tensions.

When the press loses its bearing in society, it is best to refrain from commenting. Principles are more important than one person. It is imperative that people vote for the opposition, even if Anwar were not in Pakatan Rakyat.

Pat, you must have been out of the loop for a while. You haven't heard meh...our DPM is lobbyimg very hard on behalf of the rakyat to re-introduce the 1 cent coin. It will cause at least tens of millions of tax payers money (another words, your money,my money, & Rakyat money) to do that and it will most probably...let me do some calculus...need my HP financial calculator...right,aha, got it.. if my family expenses is around RM$4,000 a month @ an average of RM $50 per transaction (that is 80 transcactions/month), my family of four might will be able to save save 3 cent/transaction x 80 transactions = RM$2.40 per month. Wallou eh, With that savings my family can enjoy half a bowl of Loh See Fun at our favourite corner coffee shop in Taipan. Mind you, one large moutful each ...got to share what!!! But DPM say must look at the long run what!!! I said, get my calculator...RM#2.40 x 12 months x 2 years (why 2 years is long run ahhh...given the previous track record on national policies, two years is a very long time) = RM$28.80 which most probably can get my family half a bowl of LOH SEE FUN at the same corner coffe shop in Taipan in 2 years time, looking at how prices have gone up in the past years and its impending increase in the near, near future.

The DPM did all this to ease the pain of price increase to the rakyat. Personally sacrifice months of sleepness night, thinking of ways to help the rakyat.

Pat, why you say you did not see any savings going back to the rakyat? A lot will be going back to the rakyat. The only problem is we have to spend more to save....at the same time price increase at a faster rate that the savings. Really Pu Boh Loo.

I tried to understand Nazri's reasoning for not taking action against Ibrahim Ali. I failed. The conscience in me said it's totally wrong, obnoxious and downright dangerous if the government decided to do nothing.

You, Mr Minister, are practising double standards - one standard for Perkasa aka Umno's running dog and the other one for the rest of us, opposition included.

If you claim Ibrahim Ali is a clown, he is, to me, the most dangerous clown in the world. A clown that could incite hatred, animosity, anger and eventually disrupt the harmony that our community had enjoyed for the past 40-odd years.

I am very confident that if the same words were uttered by a Christian, changed the wordings to a "holy war against Muslims", you would have arrested him under ISA even before the guy had a chance to leave the rostrum.

However, I do know that no self-respecting Christian would ever utter those words. In conclusion, Nazri, you are a disgrace to the Muslims by doing nothing.

BN is too scared to reveal IPP contracts?

This is how the Umno-led government abuse and misuse OSA (Official Secrets Act) for the self interests of their cronies in the privatisation of essential utilities?

Why are we paying taxes to the government when we still have to pay market price for essential services, which in the first place should be provided at minimum cost to us by the government from taxes collected from us?

To add insult to injury, the government subsidises these privatised operators of essential services at an escalating pre-determined price (profit) over the privatised period and pass the price increase to us, the end-users.

The end-users must stand up to such abuses and vote the BN (Barang Naik) out in GE13. Revenue of Petronas belongs to Malaysians, not to Umno/BN.

Chua Soi Lek talks about '1 Malaysia' vision and the govt.'s affirmative actions becoming more merit-based and more needs-driven. He is saying all this because he knows he has offended Najib in the PSD scholarship issue and by saying what he is saying he wants forgiveness from Najib.

'1 Malaysia' is merely a slogan. Where is the substance? On one hand they shouted '1Malaysia', after that they banned the Malay Bibles. They again shouted '1Malaysia', then turned around to allow its mouth-pieces the Utusan and Perkasa to accuse the Chinese of all sorts of wrong-doings.

It would serve him better if he conserves his energy and time and to use them to counter Utusan and Perkasa. He will get more respect if he can stand up to UMNO for the Chinese instead of trying to camouflage his 'b***-carrying' by saying praise for 1Malaysia.

Another strong reason why all the present politicians in the BN will not give up racial politics is because this is what keeps them entrenched in heir positions. Their fear of losing their source of illegal wealth and their positions and their family's members' positions in their parties and in the government will will make ir hard for the to give up racial politics.

The civil service has a very narrow worldview and will oppose, even refuse to implement, reforms perceived as damaging ethnic Malay interests, even if convinced of the long-run gains for Malaysia.

Although PM Najib was sincere in implementing necessary structural reforms, certain Cabinet ministers were against the New Economic Model (NEM).

Here you are told and reminded that you are a Malay, Indian or Chinese or whatever else. Only when you are abroad are you recognised as a Malaysian. When you apply to reside in Australia or New Zealand they only want to know if you are Malaysian. No columns for you to fill "Malay, Indian or Chinese." Later when you go there there rae forms you will find which require you to state your ethnicity. Most Malaysians and Singaporeans usually tick on "South East Asian" not Chinese or South Asian.

In Malaysia they don't want you in the armed forces, because they don't trust you. they don't want you in the police force because they don't trust you. they don't want you in the Civil Service, because they don't trust you. sure they will hand out some inconsequential positions here and there. They don't even think you are good enough to be a professor unless of course if you are Ridhuan Tee. They violate your religious sacraments and tell you its nothing, so NFA. They want to unite their own community and they don't know how to do it. So they tell them the Chinese are going to take over and rule them. The Chinese will not care for them. When that does not work, they now say the Christians are plotting to take over the country. They make police reports and have the police investigate a religious event and religious people. When they find no evidence whatsoever they go squeaky quiet.

Friend, I got a pair of good legs. I walk. They have made it such that if ever there was any allegiance at all, it is confined to me. I owe my allegiance to me and only me! I come first, not Malaysia. What is Malaysia after all? It is only just another country. Is it a nation? It once was. No more! I'll give my allegiance to a nation, if and when one exists.

It is less surprising that they attempted to creat chaos by wantonly creating half-truth just to work on the emotion of the people forgetting that this is the 21st Century where the pronted media is just catering for the late baby-bloomers entering their last circuit of the race! At best, they may give UM and gangs one last fling but unlikely to maintain it for sure come the next GE!

In spite of all the sloganeering and half-truth, we find rational Malaysians still voluntarily joined DAP.

It only proved that they can’t fool all the people all the time! Cheers for ALL RATIONAL MALAYSIANS!!!!!

An MCA minister recently said that his party’s role was to defend the Chinese. That made me wonder who the MCA is defending the Chinese against. I then asked a friend what Umno’s role was. His answer: To fight for the Malays. But he was vague about Umno’s enemy. And what about Pakatan Rakyat parties? Their enemies are, of course, the “corrupt and racist” Umno and BN. So here we are. A country where our politicians tell us to see each other as foes based on race and ideology. I hope such negative politics will be rejected by voters the next chance we get.

Hi Pat,

You really need to come down hard on the rascists from both sides of the divide.

The name calling is so uncool

Mukhriz a/l Mamathir has described the NEP’s 30% equity ownership require-ment as aiming to "eradicate poverty, irres-pective of race". In requiring that 30% of shares in public-listed companies be owned by bumi-putras, this policy is race-based, not needs-based, and so is certainly not "irrespective of race".

Launching another 513 is not an UMNO option with China is second economic powerhouse and UN may intervene unlike 513 in 1969.

The ultimate objective by Umno via Perkasa is to make Chinese uneasy and hope all Chinese migrate to foreign land to make space for Muslim new immigrants from elsewhere. This is to reduce Chinese electorate to insignificant percentage for UMNO to win elections forever.

The latest news: All the money saved from subsidies cut-back is support stupid IT projects such as the RM1.8 mil FB project for CUTI-CUTI Malaysia...ooh....not forgetting the 1Malaysia email project which most of the Rakyat do not want to have!

BN Government leaders are a stubborn lot, They refuse to accep that many Malaysians are going through very difficult times trying to make ends meet. The cost of living has gone up very much these last few years and, especially since the government had decided to reduce subsidies on essential items. To the BN Leaders a car is a luxury. But, to the ordinary citizen it is necessity. This explains the rationale for BN govt. to impose high duties on cars and at the same time increase the cost of petrol. They need the money for Mega Projects so that they and their proxies and cronies make billions at the expense of the rakyat. There is no accountabilty, transparency, integrity and love for the nation. All they love and crave for is $$$. If any of them says they are there to serve the rakyat it is A BIG FAT LIE. Rakyat must use their vote wisely in the GE13 and rid the country of these vultures! If we fail to do this we will be doomed and even Allah may not save us.
