When a community comes together

When a community comes together, regardless of race or religion, wonderful things can happen. Including making bad music videos and tolerating corny lyrics and bad singing. After all, we made this TOGETHER.

But in the case of these flers it might just have been too little a little too late la. Same as us maybe, hor?

We have much to learn.

Luckily RTM is recycling Jazz Cafe to entertain us.

If we had this Malaysia, the singers would have been at each others' throats along racial lines.

First, we won't be able to decide whether to sing in Malay, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, Portugese, or in English, or all.

Then, we'll be arguing about which race will start off with the first verse, or the last verse.

Or, whether we should have 60-30-10 split of singers of different race.

And lastly, the song will be about "This is my land, you are all pendatangs".

*sheesh*

and perhaps partly because of this video, 40% of the electorate voted against them for the very first time in history

To Richard Cranium, the lyrics of the song will be something like(of course it will be in Bahasa Malaysia as the official language):
'Ini Tanah Melayu, tempat ku tumpah darah aku.
1Melayu,1Bumi dulu,barulah 1Malaysia tu.'

The voting results 40% against the PAP in Singapore show some unhappiness about the cost of living, influx of foreigners, cost of housing etc. It's not about living in harmony. Generally they do not face so much about problems about race , corruption and religion etc and these can be reflected in the topics brought up during the elections. Even those who lost the election did that with dignity like the foreign minister George Yeo and his team. Singapore generally performs much better in almost areas, as can be seen by the invesmtments and foreigners flocking there. You need good and brave leaders to transform a country, not just slogans.

Wether a clip like this would be made in Malaysia or not, it would in the end sadly only benefit the studio who would make it. (cepat, cepat and copy)

Pengumuman kerajaan BN untuk menaikkan harga gula sebanyak 20 sen kepada RM2.30 nyata mendedahkan motif jahat akhbar milik UMNO, Utusan Malaysia yang sengaja mewujudkan konspirasi kononnya DAP dan para paderi Kristian ingin menubuhkan sebuah Negara Kristian dan melantik Perdana Menteri yang beragama Kristian.

Iskandar @ Johor awaiting talents !
Pat should consider setting strategic base (restaurants) there in my humble opinion.
Opportunity aplenty as u can shuttle easily to grab mediacorp projects across. Adam can study at Newcastle University at Iskandar (no need to travel to UK for study and RM & S$ save can travel to Newcastle to watch football live there).
what say you ?

p.s insider informed me Spore director Eric Khoo plans to engage local talents of your calibre. Got chance o be at Caines movie festival with his movies !

Last time we had that wonderful Pete Teo song sung by all races. But it was ignored by RTM and Rais Yatim. Enough said.

Mr PM Najib, if you really want us Rakyat to change our perception on current BN and main component UMNO, then you need to be the task master and take action against Utusan, Perkasa etc.

Honestly it's not difficult to read current strategy used by political parties and using such threads will only make matters worsen. We only want a clean, efficient and transparent government.

Non bumis are not after powers of fellow citizens so pls stop those racist remarks. You can get the power to rule the country but try to win us, Rakyat whole heartedly.

Malays number 17-18 million. They form 60 over per cent of the population. Even if DAP marshals the entirety of the Chinese support, can 20 per cent of the population outnumber the 60 over per cent?

Isn't Olivia Lum a Malaysian by birth ?

Is she still a Msian ?

I feel so ashamed and sad when prominent Malaysians (once were Malaysians) shine overseas in their new countries were showcased in local news as if it is something to be proud of.

What's there to be proud of ?
