Thursday Funnie

Lu tolong gua, gua tolong lu. Look at that face. Would you trust him?

It looks like things have not changed at all. Najib is still using his "Lu tolong gua, gua tolong lu" formula to try and win votes.

This morning's Star carried the story about the continuing water crisis issue in Selangor. Najib announced that the Federal government can solve the problem. But that the solution would involve a state administration which was able to handle the issue well.  Wait...wait...wait...this is the line that made me choke on my chee cheong fun in the kopi tiam in Section 17, PJ.........

Najib said the problem could be resolved by the Barisan Nasional government “but we have to wait until the time comes when the people of Selangor make their choice and choose a government that can do it”.

These days Najib doesn't even bother to veil the threats anymore. It's right in our faces. Nah! So? What you gonna do about it?

I know la. The Star being a BN mouthpiece have to do 'certain' things one, right? And I am sure you have noticed that for the longest time page 2 of the daily Star has been dedicated to Najib stories. Walkabouts. Kissing babies. Eating nasi lemak etc. But what pisses me off as a reader and a Malaysian is how the stories are worded to make Najib look good.  Take for instance today's story on page 2.  It's the same story where Najib issued the threat mentioned above. In the same story it was written that......

He also contributed RM2mil to the construction of the mosque, and RM1.45mil for other mosques and surau in Selangor........and........

HE contributed RM2million to the construction of the mosque???

What you mean is that he used RM2million of Malaysian tax-payers money to make himself look good. Really la. Our politicians and our news media take us for fools la.

That is all left for Najib to do, that is to keep giving away money Malaysia do not have. Especially so when for some years the country's budget has been running a deficit.
A typical example of what the deceitful and corrupted Umno morons can do, make use of money to solve and address a problem whenever it appears. They have managed to get away with that for so many decades and they think they still can get away with it this time round. No the Malaysians have their guts full of this and will for sure kick the morons out of Putrajaya this time round in the coming GE. Or may be the morons know that will happen therefore they are giving away the money they don't have and let the in coming government worry about how to pay back the short fall. Remember what these morons are doing are not the end of them all, they will keep happening until the GE is held. Just remember these morons must by law hold the GE no sooner than March 2013 unless of course like his father Najib might also declare an emergency of some sorts to hang on to power. In which case the morons will have to come up with all sorts of new taxes to claw back every single cent they have given away. Otherwise Malaysia will join Greece to be the first Asean nation to go bankrupt ! So to impede this from happening make sure you come out and vote the morons out and have their lackeys, especially the grand son of the pariah from Kerala, the shenanigan Mahathir indicted for the numerous abuse of powers during the tenure as P.M. retrospectively !

Totally agree with you Pat. Ruling govt couldnt be bothered to filter their statements anymore. Every single word that comes out from their filthy mouth totally reflect their sentinment on the subject matter. The tragic part is, these kinda words and threats can only be issued by the Ketuanans. God forbid if it ever come from the Nons. So tragic that so many Malaysians are still in coma, not realising the slow but sure erosion of their rights as human beings. The level of mental retardation among these commatose Malaysians have reached an extremely critical level. Sad indeed.

Patrick, what did you really expect from our present government? It's the same thing everytime in the papers. I don't really care to read the papers nowaday.

Trust Najib? Now that is a real joke.

I'd rather park my Ferrari (if I had one) unlocked with the key in its ignition in a dark alley in Raja Laut, and place my trust in the absolute integrity of the denizens there..

As of The Star... its kow-tow reporting should not surprise anyone anymore.

The desparation of un-elected PM Najib does shock me still though. Just how much lower can he sink to with his grabbing at straws? Still trying to fool the people.

Sheeeeeeesh! If only it do not cost the rakyat's coffers so much, the laughing would not hurt as much.

I wonder if he will drop even lower, and spew a "haram jadah" expletive at his detractors just like what he did with the FELDA folks who would not swallow the FGV listing "deal". That would not surprise me.

Hi Patrick,

I wish It was funny but its a little depressing! I think though these types of issues won't be resolved until the government call the election in September. While they hold out hope of retaking the lost states they are not even bothering to negotiate with the current state government. They are not an opposition state government but a democratically elected incumbent government of Selangor.
Thanks for a great post. :)

To Mr Nah jib,

Don't take us Rakyat for fools la.

We do not have to vote for BN in Selangor to help sort out the water issues.

We can just vote BN out of Putrajaya and we will achieve the same outcome.

It is of fundamental importance in a democracy, that citizens actually exercise their right to vote. Having the right to vote without utilising it is of little use. Voting ensures that every Malaysian citizen participates in bringing about a more just and equitable Malaysia for succeeding generations to come.

We undertake our duty as citizens and exercise our right to vote and express our preference for a political coalition that will best achieve our vision of a better Malaysia.

1. A nation guided by the ethics of respect for human dignity. This means a nation where its citizens are engaged fairly as equals, and their rights respected in accordance with the provisions as guaranteed under the Federal Constitution. Such a nation treats its citizens with understanding, honesty and mutual respect.

2. A nation where extremism of all kinds is rejected and quickly curtailed. Racial and religious bigotry, manipulation and lies that have now come to define the social sphere, the print media and political posturing must end immediately.

3. A nation free of corruption, putting in place strengthened state and public institutions whose members conduct themselves with integrity, transparency and accountability.

4. A nation that works towards the fair and equitable distribution of wealth and ensuring well-being for all, regardless of citizenship status, ethnicity or creed. Every citizen and every community should be empowered and enabled to pursue economic activity and achieve advancement duly and fairly supported by the government where needed and necessary without favour or discrimination and without being overly or unfairly supported by the state.

5. A nation where care for the environment is privileged over self-seeking capitalism and where its political leaders weigh all decisions with ecological interest and sustainability as an essential aspect of development.

6. A nation where language and education are de-linked from political expedience.

7. A nation where elitism and inequality is not rampant and people are recognised and respected as human beings and not discriminated against due to social position, educational attainment, political beliefs, gender, race or religion.

8. A nation where religious freedom to profess, practice and propagate one’s religion is allowed to flourish without undue curtailment from the law, restrictions or even prohibition.

Therefore the only way to achieve the above is UBAH!
