More Wednesday afternoon entertainment......

Malacca Chief Minister, Ali Rustam says that he only spent RM600,000 for the wedding dinner. And not RM1.3 million as claimed by DAP's Lim Kit Siang. He said that he employed 30 chefs who each cooked nasi beriani dishes for 2,000 guests priced at RM10 per serving and with each serving able to feed 3 persons. This would total up to RM600,000 for a wedding feast that could be served to up to 180,000 guests.

(Okay when you're done laughing, there's more.)

When asked if he had sponsors Ali Rustam said yes but they advertised in the souvenir booklet and also donated their products for the event. Like instant noodles and soft drinks.

Okay Ali Rustam, that's all very nice and entertaining to hear but the big question still is this...

How could you, on a CM's salary be able to afford dishing out RM600,000 for a wedding dinner for your son? Did you save from your teenage years for this occasion?

Like Rosmah mah. The Fat Lady of Malaysia (FLOM) said she saved since she was young to buy her US$24 million diamond ring and Birkin bags.

So, what is RM600K for his son's wedding? Ali Rustam has obviously been "saving" a long - VERY long - time lah ...

Samsam: A serving of RM10 were to be shared by 3 persons must be quite a wedding feast. Were those present being served nasi campur and mee-goreng segera cooked by the 30 chefs with stuffs supplied by the Kedai-Satu-Malaysia? He has been CM of the state for a number of years. I believe he could argue with MACC that he has been saving every penny of his salary ever since he assumed the CM office just for the day of his son wedding. He did not have to pay rentals, no need to pay for a car to go to work and he lived on nasi campurs that cost about RM3.33 per meal for umpteen years. So he is able to afford the RM600,000 in question. More ever there were those well-wishers who "donated" for the occasion. So MACC would declare that there is no case against him and he would claim that he has been cleared by MACC. So there comes another Malaysia Record!

No wonder Mohd Ali considers the expenditures on his son's wedding NOT EXTRAVAGANT! He needed not pay! He is telling the truth!

Just ask any Malaccan on the road, who doesn't know this Ali's corrupt practices......

Why people still want to vote this BN regime????? Change we must for this coming GE13!!!

And that record was for the most number of servings shared by multiple guests at a wedding dinner?

The CM of Malacca, please provide us with the names and addresses of the 30 chefs. Your help is needed as a group of us would like to organise and sponsor a similar RM10.00 feast for the poor and homeless in Kuala Lumpur. Of course, the number of attendees will be much smaller as there is no way your record could be broken as your popularity status in UMNO, Malacca and country is undisputable.

When event like this does raise a red flag. Its up to the relevant agencies to do their work. But nobody dare to rock the boat especially when whistle blower always get the short end of the enforcement of law.

There is no free lunch; in spending that much, sponsors do expect a benefit or advantage to do so and that's the only motivation. If this is so, don't this fall under corruption and abuse of power?

We have realized that Malaysia is already a failed state as cases such as this will go unperturbed. It is not the first neither will it be the last. Worst case scenario for any person who 'bongkar' can say goodbye to his business with the state government.

Rakyat in the end suffers because slowly but surely we will have less fund to improve our dilapidated economy. All these will lead on to higher cost of living with poorer state for Rakyat's welfare. In the short term we may not feel it but given the situation now, Malaysia will continue to move backward when compared to our neighboring countries on the year to year basis.

We hope all these extravagances will stop when a new government with integrity takes over the administration of the country. Otherwise we will be doomed for another 55 years.

Najib and all the scumbags and parasites from Umno wouldn't dare lift a finger on the issue because they need him in the supreme council. You scratch my ass and I scratch yours ! This is Umno for you and it is time to vote out of their ivory towers in the coming GE !
