More post-GE13 snippets

I was reading in The Sun this morning the story about how planeloads of East Malaysians (Sarawakians?) were flown back to the Peninsula to vote. This was a statement made to dispel allegations of electoral fraud.
No la they were not illegals being flown in to vote. They were just East Malaysians coming back to the Peninsula to vote.
Huh? Got such thing one meh? I thought if that is the case they would be flying the other way ma. No ah? And then got NGO sponsor the flight some more. I osso confuse la. The Sun story HERE.

Quote that will probably make Malaysians more pissed-off with Najib...

“The prime minister has a right to be disappointed with Chinese voters... after he had worked so hard to win over the community through various programmes and aid” - Prof Dr Ho Khai Leong, the Chinese Studies Institute’s dean at the MCA’s Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.

As a Malaysian I don't question his right. It's that "worked so hard to win over ... " I find difficult to deal with. You?

Najib Razak keeps harping on “You blamed Utusan but you don’t ask about the Chinese papers”.

I think one lady said it best. "I can't read Chinese papers but I can and do read Malay ones. So?"

Hee hee hee......

responses and answers from government officers that most times, do not really address the issues in point.

indelible ink - what cause it to be un-indelible and why was it not announce prior to altering or diluting the substance? instead, we get answers like this:- no one can vote twice because the ic or names will be strike out. that's no really answering the question.

utusan racist headline - why distract the issue to other papers when the very topic of news is the news itself being published.

special flights - why are all the flights boarded by foreigners back to west malaysia? did they even investigate how all these voters, including the so called NGO organizing it, how all the logistic were put in place in such a quick time.

our ministers never gives time, facts, data or documented proof to substantiate their response. it is the same as preparing a thesis for your degree. you back up your findings with references, quotes and reiiable information to present your case.

if its ok, in what sense it is ok?

if its done fairly, what procedures or protocols were in place to ensure or considered to be fair.

if they said they have work "hard". what is the level of achievement and the impact if any. working hard doesnt mean you will always get the results you want. either that, they are working hard for the wrong reasons.

May be Prof Dr Ho Khai Leong said Najib work VERY HARD to give out vouchers and cash but still lost ...

But at the same time , Mahathir bundles the vouchers and cash with Ibrahim Ali and Zulkifli to us

So ..blame the players , don't blame the game ...

How hard does Najib work? I do not know other than I knew he went around(that may be working hard)to give promises after promises(that is subject to BN winning-but that also subject to whether winning in that contituency where he went).
Now that BN wins nationally but certain constituentcies did not make it.
So,may I ask Prof Ho(alias BN ball carrier)-will Najib still keep his promises to the areas where he campainged but still lost?

Hey, I know you are pissed off, but please take time to read my post.

There are a number of Peninsular (or more commonly known as KL, because locals around my area refer Peninsular or Semenanjung as KL) people who work with the government being posted to Sarawak and Sabah.Eg. teachers, government officers etc. I was one of them.
Besides government staffs, please don't forget other industries as well, Petronas?

We would fill up 90% of the seats on the eve of semester break.
Ok.Who am I for you to believe anyway? So, perhaps you may want to spend some time to join this group and go through the post. You would realise the number of teachers there could have easily fill up the flights.

So the cat is out of the bag. It is the citizens of this country that is supposed to work for the government and not the other way round. Now I get it. We should be grateful and thankful to Najib and the government for giving us the BR1M, student vouchers, etc which came out from our own hard earned tax money.

Lets have another election next month so that I can then vote again based on my latest enlightenment that I work for Najib and his government.

Deputy Chairman of EC said regarding all this fuss about indelible ink, something like,"What's the problem? You can't vote again after today."

Huh? Is the man really so blur?

Patrick,

Re plane loads of East Malaysians "coming back" to Peninsula to vote, have you considered the fact that it may all be due to a simple navigational error?

You see, they thought the magnetic poles have flipped (as they every some million years) and they had re-set their compasses to adjust for the flip, hence the confusion with East and West.

I don't know how to explain what happens when they got off the plane and went to "homes" which look nothing like the ones they came from.. or should that be the homes they left??

Re Ho Khai Leong, he is probably associated with the Make Chinese Angry people. He's just maintaining his form and making sure he continues to Make Chinese Angry :)

1Malaysia has no substance; corruption remains rife; Najib failed to fulfill his promise to find the late DAP aide Teoh Beng Hock's killers; Umno/MCA's mouthpiece aka Utusan Malaysia/The Star continue with impunity to treat voters as stupid; Najib's failure to rein in Mahathir/Perkasa.

Pretty sums up why BN failed rakyat.

Luckily May 13 in 2013 is incident free despite Utusan is trying to instigate the malays to 'tumpah darah'.

Now some fu*ked up UMNO ex-DCM wants to strip Anwar's citizenship. What a clown! Is Malaysia his grandfather's sole property?

This sort of behaviour clearly shows that UMNO lost because its leaders were a bunch of idiots. The smarter and educated Malays are now in PR, it seems. MCA on the other hand has a clown who does not know he stuffed up and still does not want to resign. Less said about the Make Indian Cry party the better.

Najib and Umno have become very desperate and worried that a lot of Malays, who were previously their vote bank, have abandoned them and started supporting the opposition.

To win them back, they have decided to use the race card to the hilt. Immediately after the elections, Najib fired the first racist salvo when he attributed BN's loss at the polls to the ‘Chinese tsunami'.

Umno's gutter press then followed up with racist statements such as, ‘what more do the Chinese want'.

Now at this forum, which was most probably organised by Umno, some unprincipled lackeys like the former judge and the pro-chancellor have come up with even more racist statements to try and create a rift between the Malays and non-Malays who were strongly united during the recent elections, which resulted in BN getting fewer popular votes than Pakatan Rakyat.

There are strong indications that BN now is an illegal and illegitimate government and so Umno is playing its ultimate race card to get back Malay support.
